"I wish I could stay."

The sun rose from the mountains as the new day arrived. Draco stayed the night with me, but we both knew that this would be short lived.

"Snape would be furious if he knew I stayed the night." Draco throws his jacket back on.

"Snape can kiss my ass at this point. He didn't think to warn me that you were coming here." I cuddle a pillow as I sat up, watching him get ready to leave.

Draco walks over to me and kisses my forehead, "I'll see you later, darling. Be safe, ok?"

I smile and nod at him, while I watched him disapparate out of my room.

I went straight to the bathroom to shower, but what I saw in the mirror stopped me.

Over the hickies that Montague left on me prior to seeing Draco, were now larger and darker because Draco felt the need to make his own 'mark' me. I rolled my eyes and didn't bother to cover it up today. I changed into a fresh set of clothes and charmed myself into Rosie. I decided to pay a visit to Sev and have a few words with him about the unexpected guest.

I walked down to the common room and saw Montague waiting for me on the couches, along with Blaise.

As soon as Monty saw me at the bottom of the staircase, he ran up to me, "Rosie!"

The closer he got to me, the slower his pace got as he witnessed the hickies in areas that he doesn't remember touching. The first question he asked was, "... did I do that to you?"

I chuckle at his confidence, "Monty... Don't you remember?" He looks at me confused but shakes his head.
By now, everyone in the common room was watching us talk...

Ok actually, they were all just curious about who gave me the hickies, but yehno whatever.

Blaise was also interested, especially since he sent the letter to Draco about my budding friendship.

I explained to Monty, "This was from the guy after you. We got to my room but you fainted, remember?"

"Oh..." he begins to blush, "Maybe we could link up this weekend?"

I smile at him, "I don't think that's a good idea, Monty." I tap on his shoulder before brushing past him.

I walked by Blaise who was just relaxing in the couch, laughing at my sudden choice to reject Monty, "Why the rejection, Rosie?"

I answer back, not looking his way, "You know exactly why, Blaise."

I could feel his smirk from a mile away.

I walk straight to Snape's office and push his door open. I'm surprised to see it empty.

I decide to wait for him until he returns. I walk to his desk and see that it's messy... very unlike him.

I look at the papers and books that cover his desk and realize it's the same paperwork I found in his study at home: the horcruxes.
I see that he has new copies of what the horcruxes are... a few crumpled pieces of parchment and a few more pieces seemed to be cut out.

I try to figure what exactly what Snape's plan is that he refuses to tell me about.

I swear I've seen one of these horcruxes before... this tiara looking thing. Maybe in the Room of Requirement?

I'm surprised by the sound of the office door opening and slamming shut, as Snape glides over to me, "What...are you doing?" He shoos me away from his desk.

"I could ask you the same thing, Uncle Snape..." I wave one of the papers, "What is this?"

He snatches it away from my hand, "Nothing you should be concerned about." I scowl at him before slowly looking away and taking a seat.

"So... care to tell me why I was greeted by ferret boy in my room last night?" I ask.

Snape smirks, "I take it that you two made up?"

I scoff, "... and what makes you think that?"

He raises his eyebrows as his eyes darted down to my neck then back up.
I opened my mouth, thinking I was going to say something to my defense... but I couldn't think quickly enough and just brought my hair over my neck instead and told him, "... shut up."

Snape chuckles, "Don't expect it to be a regular thing, Joy. That was a one time accommodation."

I raise my head up , indicating that I understood him loud and clear.

"So are we just going to pretend like I don't know that you're keeping track of the horcruxes as Harry searches for them?" I casually ask.

Snape snaps his head in my direction, "You don't have to worry about that."

I sigh, "He's found the goblet. I told him about it at Malfoy Manor, so you can cross that off of your picture list."
He squints his eyes before doing just that.

"I've seen the tiara before." I pick some lint off of me.
Snape asks, "Where have you seen it?"

The tone in his voice intrigued me, as it reached a slightly higher pitch for someone like Snape. "Is that where you've been? You've been trying to find it?"

He doesn't answer me, so I take that as a yes. I smile, "I know where it is, and unless you tell me what your plan is, then you can find that tiara yourself." I stand up and start to walk to the door.

"Wait—"

I slowly turn around to face him, "Yes, Uncle Sevy?"

He sighs, "Are you still having visions?" I shake my head.

"When did your magic get stronger?" I think about it for a second before shrugging my shoulders, "Maybe a little after being at Malfoy Manor? Saving the Trio?" I rub my chin, "I felt different... but didn't realize it until I set Pugface on fire."

He furrows his eyebrows, "...Pugface?"

I laugh, "Sorry... you know her as Miss Parkinson."

Snape huffs before saying, "Refrain from exposing your power to others."

I look at him confused, "...why?"

He raises his voice, "Just do as I say, Joy!"

I put my hands up, "Ok ok, goodness. No need to yell."

I leave his office, feeling kinda surprised that Snape suddenly raised his voice at me. How cute.

Snape sinks into his chair, looking at the papers on his desk. He sighs and sinks his head into his hands before running his fingers through his hair.

He thinks to himself disappointed, 'How can I protect her from herself?'
