Kai's POV 5:40 on Thursday (before Zeke's entrance)
"Are you feeling better?" Momma Tessie asks as I drink a cup of water.
"A bit better." Actually I would feel a whole lot better if I had Zeke. "I'm sorry for the nut show" I'm actually pretty embarrassed.
"Oh Katie that was no nut show." Tessie giggles. I smile at her but the smile doesn't reach my eyes this time. I'm just not feeling it.
I just want Zeke. No. I need Zeke.
I look down at my necklace, it's finally gone back to normal. I'll have to tell Zeke about it.
Momma Tessie continues to talk to Dana when suddenly I feel a presence. I look up and see Arrio coming outside. Hmf that's not who I wanted but at least he's hot.
I notice someone behind him. I move to the side to get a better look but before I can figure who it is my body is already moving. I hug the person "Kai!" He says.
Yes I know this person . This person is safe.
"I knew you would show up." I whisper so only he could hear.
"oh really? And how's that?" Zeke asks. Man I missed his voice
"Because you always show up when I need you."
"Hmm how long do you think you'll need me for?" He looks up and stares straight ahead. What is he doing?! He should be looking at me right now!
"Till death due us part." I whisper, snuggling more into his chest. I hear a growl behind me that makes me jump. I tighten my grip around his waist. "W-what was that?"
"What was what?" He asks . Jeez now I'm hearing things.
"Never mind."
