Fuck I thought to myself. Trig doesn't see me the same as she used to.. I'm hopelessly falling for someone who sees me nothing more than a friend. She's only being nice at the moment because she feels bad for what she did
"hi- oh Billie i didn't know you were coming" Claudia said as she opened the door
"i'm sorry i didn't mean too I was just driving and then i don't know" i was fighting the tears in my eyes
"hey are you okay?" she grabbed my face wiping the tears
"yeah.. no.. i don't know"
"come in" she grabbed my hand and led me to the sofa
"where's fin.."
"taking peaches on a walk, what's wrong?"
"so uhh Trig is very much alive.."
"fin said i'm so sorry"
"no but" i took a deep breath in "ikindabeenseeingher" i said quickly
"oh.. like seeing seeing or seeing"
"no just hanging out... are you mad?"
"well first how do you feel about hanging out with her" she said softly
"it's just like how it was before she makes me forget all about what's on my mind and i really can see myself falling for her all over again and it scares me because yeah she's being all nice and shit but what if she leaves again? i mean she had a good enough reason to leave last time and now she should've left earlier this week but she stayed because i asked her too" I said as Claudia had a grin on her face "what?"
"she stayed because you asked her too?"
"yeah.. she has a gang hunting her"
"so what your saying is she could be in a lot of danger right now?"
"i mean... yeah..."
"then you have nothing to worry about"
"what do you mean? i don't want her getting killed" i panicked
"no i didn't mean it like that i meant like she's putting herself in danger so she can stay here with you.. and especially since you asked her too and she listened, i think she's falling for you too" she smiled
"but she said she doesn't even know if she loved me"
"when was this?"
"before she was supposed to leave"
"maybe she said it so she could leave easier knowing that you hated her" she smiled
"fuck your right"
"so when do i get to meet her"
"meet her?" I never thought about Trig meeting my family
