Random Rants 5: Now with Furbys

Omg

I accidentally encountered a spoiler for the Throne of Glass series on Instagram the other day but I didn't realise it was a spoiler bc I'm a dumbass but it's fine bc it didn't actually ruin anything for me

The post was something like "books with strong female protagonists"
And it had the book and the character's name plus some of the character's traits

And throne of glass was in there bc the protagonist of it (who I knew as Celaena) is pretty badass
But
The post named a character called Aelin
And I was like "whomst"
But I didn't really question it

And now I know
That Celaena
Is actually Aelin
And
I'm so glad I didn't figure that out sooner bc Aelin is in fact the heir to the throne of the rival kingdom and yadayadayada
