The conversation he had was on replay in his mind, eating him out like a parasite. He hated it, but he kept fueling his undying anger and hatred with that one conversation. That unrequited love ate Tobio out. It blinded him. Seething in of his system like some sort of disease, eating his heart out little by little, turning him into a hateful monster.
He was obsessed with Hinata, and he wanted his love to be requited. He didn't want to see anyone with Hinata. He didn't want to see Hinata happy with someone else. So if he didn't have Hinata, nobody would.
He brandishes the knife he got from the hardware store and puts on his gloves. It was the middle of summer, the air was hot but it didn't stop Tobio from wearing a black hoodie and started to walk to Hinata's place.
He knew Hinata would be home alone. And that Kozume would arrive at 8 PM, he just had to beat him to it. Tobio skipped towards Hinata's house and rang the doorbell.
He heard footsteps shuffling and the door opened. "Kenma I thought-"
Tobio hits Hinata's head as hard as he could. Shutting the door behind him. Hinata, in a daze and with blurred vision started to tear up. Pain rushing through his body as his head throbbed. Kageyama put a rag against Shoyo's mouth and started to cut on his fingers. Shoyo wanted to scream in pain but it was muffled by the rug.
"You are my sunshine~" Tobio starts singing as he digs the knife in Hinata's chest and makes it stay there as he cradles Hinata's bleeding body and smiles. "My only sunshine~" he continues as tears flow down Hinata's face.
"W-Why would you do this?"
His squirming growing slower. Tobio menacingly giggles and yanks the knife out of the orange-haired boy's chest. He lets the blood out as he carries on with the singing.
"You make me happy, when skies are gray~" he caresses Hinata's face as he grows weaker by the minute.
He drags the knife against Hinata's throat, shallow enough to let him live but deep enough to make it fatal. "You never know dear~" Tobio endearingly smiles as Hinata weakly looks on in horror, "How much I love you~" Kageyama zips down his jacket and folds the turtleneck he was wearing, he slits his throat and manages to croak out,
"Please don't take my sunshine away~" as they lay there, dead and limp, blood spread around the place.
