Potter Manor
Thea was so happy to be home.
For once, she was truly, completely happy with most things in her life.
Sirius was a dream come true, even though they toed the fine line between friends and something more, it was still better than any relationship she'd been in.
James was happy and that always made her happy.
The only thing that saddened her was that Lily didn't talk to her as much. She was preoccupied, but that was to be expected, she supposed.
Her mum had made banana bread for their arrival home.
The house smelled the same and it looked the same.
It was perfect.
They all sat around the kitchen table, eating the bread with jolly smiles.
James and Sirius recounting their time for the first 3 months of school.
Thea even piped up and talked about how much fun she was having, something that shocked her parents.

The snow fell outside, soft flakes gracing the world with their cold innocence and joy.
This was one of the first times they had truly been a family.
