Aimee's POV
Adalynn is currently sleeping on the couch in the living room. Once we got home she fell asleep. I hate seeing her this sick. I decided to call Shawn just to let him know what's happened.

On the first ring he picked up the phone. "Hey baby. I'm in the middle of doing something. What's up?" He asked.

"I'm sorry to bother you. I just wanted to let you know I'm home. Adalynn got sick at the daycare so they let me take her home early" I say. "Oh no. How is she doing now??" He says, dropping what he was doing.

"She's definitely not herself. She's currently sleeping on the couch right now. We weren't even inside for more than 5 minutes and she was already asleep" I answered.

"Do you want me to come home from work early so I could help out?" He asked and I couldn't help but smile. Isn't he the cutest and sweetest? "No. It's okay. Thank you though!" I say.

"You're welcome. There's a chance I might be home earlier though cause my boss might let me leave a bit earlier today!" He says and I replied with a "okay. My phone started making a noise and I looked at it. My eyes widened.

"My dad is calling me! I have to go! I love you and bye!" I say, hanging up the phone and answering my dads call. "Hey!" I say and he chuckled.

"I didn't think you'd pick up. I thought you were at work" he says and I sit on the couch by Adalynn's feet. "I was at work but Adalynn got sick and I took her home. How did court go??" I asked.

"Well it's kinda bad and good. Pretty much Jaxon isn't gonna be home anytime soon. But the good news is that he'll be getting out of the detention center. They're sending him to a place which is pretty much like a all boys boarding school. He's kinda excited because he saw pictures and it does seem pretty neat. They have a pool, basketball court, and all of the fun stuff. He'll have a lot more privileges and more phone calls. However the place is 5 hours away. They have visitations on Saturday and Sunday from 9-5. We're allowed to bring him food like McDonald's and games and everything like that. We would have to stay at a hotel on the weekends when we visit him so you and Shawn would have to talk about that because I don't know if you'd want to bring the kids or whatnot. They're hopefully will have a room available by this weekend. We obviously can't visit this weekend because he'll be moving into his cabin and he'll be busy but they said we could start visiting next weekend. Oh and they said depending on how well he does by the 6th week he could get a day pass where when we visit him on the weekend we could go out or he could even get a home pass where he would be able to come home for the weekend!" He says.

"Omg. That's amazing. We obviously wanted him to come home but at least he isn't in that hell hole anymore" I say and he chuckled. "That's exactly what he said. He's trying to look at the bright side of everything and omg Aimee. He changed and when I say he changed, I mean it. He's been opening a lot lately which he never did. He always kept his emotions inside and he's telling everyone the truth on why he started doing drugs and drinking which was partially because of the death of your mother. He's just been doing so much better" he says and I couldn't help but smile.

"That's amazing. I'm so happy to hear that! I'm so sorry to cut this short but I have to get going. Adalynn is waking up" I say. "Okay. Tell my princess that I hope she feels better soon!" He says. "Okay. Bye!" I smiled, hanging up.

"How are you feeling?" I asked, placing my phone on the night stand. "Like I'm go-" she started, but she didn't finish what she was gonna say and just puked everywhere.

"I'm sorry" Adalynn cried. "Don't cry baby. It's okay" I say, rubbing her back. It was all over the floor and on her clothes. "You're gonna take a bath okay? Maybe that'll help a little" I say, getting up and waking into the bath tub.

I run the water and walked back to the living room. While the bath is filling up I cleaned up the puke. "Take your clothes off and throw them in the hamper" I say, and she nods.

After I cleaned up the bath was done filling. We walked into the bathroom and Adalynn hopped it. My phone starts ringing and I sighed. "I'll be back" I say, running into the living room. "Hey!" I say, walking back into the bathroom just to see Adalynn just sitting there.

That's unusual. She usually love baths and always love to play in the bath. "Hey. I'm like 5 minutes away from the apartment. My job let me leave early. Do you need anything from the store?" Shawn asked and I looked at Adalynn.

"Actually would you be able to pick up bananas, applesauce, and bread. And some medicine for Adalynn. She hasn't been eating but if she tries applesauce or something maybe it'll stay down and help her feel a bit better" I answered.

"Sure. I'm guessing she's not feeling any better?" Shawn says and I sighed. "She looks like crap. She just puked all over the living room and I put her in the bath and she's just sitting there not doing anything" I say, and Adalynn just looked at me.

"That's unusual. I'll be home in like 20 minutes. I just pulled into the store parking lot" he says. "Okay. Bye!" I say hanging up.

After we washed Adalynn's body and hair we drained the water and walked into her room with the towel wrapped around her. "Put your pajamas on. I'm gonna call Christine" I say and she nods. I walked into the living room and called Christine's cell phone.

"Hey Aimee. How's Adalynn?" Was the first thing she asked. I smiled. I love how worried she gets when it comes to Adalynn. "She just got sick again. She looks a lot worst in my opinion. I was gonna ask if I could just take the day off tomorrow just so she could get some rest and take a break from the daycare for a day" I asked. "Of course!! If you need anything just text or call me!" She says and I smiled.

"Oh and be careful tomorrow. We're suppose to be getting a bad hurricane tomorrow and it's suppose to be really bad. They're already talking about closing the schools and it's already getting really windy!" She added and my eyes widened as Adalynn sat next to me on the couch.

"Thank you for letting me know! I had no idea" I say. "Of course. I have to go now. Tell Adalynn I hope she feels better!" She says hanging up. "Christine says she hopes you feel better" I say, putting my phone on the table. She lets out a small smile and I cuddled with her until Shawn got home.
