Training programme.

Diverse trainees come together to create a spirit of acceptance, healthy competition, erase future hatred, and make friends in the industry. Summer was the time when all the small and big entertainment companies sent trainees to idol camps. The trainees were forbidden to date because they may debut later this year.

One of the most prominent entertainment companies in South Korea organized the workshop. SM Entertainment, one of South Korea's Big Three companies, is organizing this year's event. They went full throttle. The trainee camp used to be reserved for only the ten richest companies, but since 2010 it has been open to smaller companies as well. (ten companies participating  SM, JYP, YG, Cube, Pledis, P.Nation, RBW, FNC, Bighit...)

To the amazement of many, Bighit was included in this year's ten. Bighit was a company on the brink of bankruptcy. It was bankrupt. As a result, the trainee group wasn't well respected. What makes them think that they would be able to debut those fifteen trainees in the future?

Even though large companies demonstrate little respect for smaller ones, they are cutesy enough to invite the latter to learn from them. This year, Big Hit sends fifteen trainees (seven of whom are already in groups, and the other five are training as soloists and dancers). JYP sends ten, YG twelve, and Cube twenty. 

Since a boy group of their trainees recently debuted, SM sent only six. The new group is being considered for a Nomination for Best Rookie.

One of SM Entertainment's resorts was the venue for the workshop camp. In this luxury resort, he was the co-owner.
