Holidays with the Fett family were always interesting to say the least. Whether it be cooking with Cody and Wolffe for Thanksgiving, or helping set up a surprise birthday party for the twins Echo and Fives, you enjoyed their shenanigans. This Christmas was no different.

It all started when the snow began to fall in the city of Kamino. You and Rex had been helping the oldest brother, Wolffe, clean up after a rather rambunctious movie night. The whole family had stayed up late to watch their favorite Christmas movie, White Christmas. Rex had invited you to join them, claiming that you were basically part of the family by now. Hardcase lay fast asleep in a bowl of popcorn, drool dripping from his mouth. That was one mess you both decided to leave alone. Kix was almost asleep, shifting anytime you or Rex walked by. Cody was passed out on the couch, hugging a cushion like you would imagine he would a stuffed porg. However, it was Jesse who spotted the white flakes falling heavily outside the window. Within a split-second, he woke each of his brothers with an excited yell, "Guys! Get up! It's snowing!"

In a moment's time, the window was crowded with the faces of the brothers pressed up against the cool glass. You chuckled at the sight, raising an eyebrow at Rex and Wolffe, "Aren't you going to join them?"

Wolffe laughed heartily, "No way. That's a dogpile I'd rather avoid. Besides, I bet you a handful of credits a fight will break out in just a moment."

True to his statement, the sound of bickering started when Hardcase pulled at Tup's longer hair to make him get out of the way. Wolffe shrugged, rolling his eyes at the scene as if to say I told you so.

You laughed as the pile collapsed into a wrestling match between the brothers. Rex chuckled while Wolffe went back to washing dishes, "My bet is on Tup. He becomes a beast whenever someone pulls his hair."

You shrugged, "I don't know about that. Hardcase is definitely stronger."

Rex turned to you, "Experience outranks everything, which Tup has more of."

"You two done flirting yet? These dishes aren't going to clean themselves," Wolffe teased. You rolled your eyes as you picked up a small towel and hit Rex gently on the arm with it. He shot you a look that said, You'll pay for that.

While the three of you finished cleaning the cookie pans and mixing bowls from earlier, the brothers ran around the house, chasing one another in an intense game of tag. Wolffe barked at them to quit a few times, but even he only had so much control over them. When all was clean and the time came for you to leave, you hurriedly grabbed your coat and scarf. Wolffe hugged you goodbye while Rex tried to think up any reason for you to stay, "I wish you'd stay. They love you like their own family, and I know I wouldn't mind the company."

With a quick kiss to his nose, you smile sadly, "Rex, I have to go. I have to visit my folks in the morning. I love you, but maybe next year." He nodded sadly as he kissed your cheek in goodbye.

You opened the front door, but before you could make it one step, you noticed that it had snowed a lot harder than you had previously thought. The walkway was covered and the road was coated with white powder. There's no way I'll be able to get home with all this snow.

The same thought must have crossed Rex's mind because no sooner had you turned around, he had already grabbed your favorite blanket from off of the couch and had a smug smirk on his face. "So, would you like to stay with us for Christmas, ____?"

You gave him a look, but then nodded, letting him wrap you up in his arms tightly. "Merry Christmas, cyare." He whispered into your ear.

You grinned as you laid your head on his chest, "Merry Christmas, Rex."
