"Here's your hot chocolate with extra marshmallows, my dear." Obi-Wan said as he placed a warm mug in your hands. You smiled as you felt the couch dip beside you.

Tonight was Obi-Wan's "holiday break" from the Jedi Order and the ongoing Clone Wars. Although you both knew that the war didn't stop for the holidays, this was your one night to escape reality for just a few hours, so the both of you had planned a holiday-themed movie night.

You took a sip out of your mug and hummed, "Obi, you make the best hot chocolate. You've got to let me in on the secret sometime."

He chuckled, "I can't, love. I'm afraid if I told you, you'd take it and leave me all alone."

You could hear the joking in his tone, but you still leaned against his chest and said softly, "I'd never leave you. You know that."

"I know." He snuggled closer to you, stroking your hair as he reached for the remote for the holonet. "So what should we watch first? We have White Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, White Christmas..."

"Honey, you already said that one," you giggled.

     He shrugged, "Perhaps."

It was clear that White Christmas was his favorite movie, especially after his own experience in the Clone Wars as a general. He mentioned almost every time you both watched it that he related to that character greatly, seeing Cody as Bing Crosby's character as a dutiful soldier that would go above and beyond for his friend.

You reached for a blanket on the other side of the couch. "Are you going to start the movie?" you ask when you noticed Obi-Wan is still holding the remote.

He blinked a couple times before replying, "Wait, is this actually what you want to watch, because you can always say no if—"

You gently kissed his cheek, "If it's what you want to watch, which it clearly is, then I'm happy to watch it with you."

The movie started as his lips formed a smile, "How did I get so lucky to find you?"

"I don't know, Obi, but you better never let me go," you replied cockily.

To this he pulled you closer and whispered, "I don't intend to, my dear."
