I close my eyes, letting out a deep breath.
"I'm sorry"

We say in unison. "what?"
"I said I'm sorry"
"Y-Y/n I was being a total asshole, I really crossed the line, I'm really sorry, y-you shouldn't be the one apologizing..." He stammered. "I shouldn't have raised my voice like that..." He releases a sigh, occupying the swing next to mine.
"if I were you I would have raised my voice at me too. I know you couldn't control it..." I scratch my forehead. "You know Sunghoon...you're seriously a brat." We both chuckle. "but the thing is...you always know how to apologize and you acknowledge your mistakes. Apology accepted."
"did ms. bad temper just forgive me?" He giggles. "you're never gonna stop with that nickname, will you?" "nope. At least not until it becomes Mrs. Park"

I am truly speechless.
"Park Sunghoon you go from 0 to 100 in a split second. And I'd say something but good job, you left me speechless with this one" He laughs wholeheartedly, throwing his head back.
I bite my tongue to restrain my laughter, but eventually, some giggles came out. I look at the ground, spacing out.
"Y/n" "Yeah?" "remember when I used push your swing?" A small smile comes up on my lips. "yeah I remember..."
I have some pretty fond memories with him to be honest, when we were kids, he was my absolute favorite playmate. But we grew up, we both changed as individuals, we're not who we used to be anymore.
"remember when we were five and we almost drowned Jake in the kiddy pool?" This time the two of us start laughing, reminiscing the old days.
"hell yeah, our moms scolded us so much" "I mean, we almost killed Jake but okay i guess"
