"...rUSSLAND!!"

The countryhuman mentioned jumped up from his chair and nearly drew an ugly line right across the document he was signing, eyes wide as he stared at the intruder in his house, where he had assumed he was alone and safely locked up in for the night. However, there was only one person on the entire planet that would call him by that name with that particular tone.

Germany grinned and dumped whatever luggage he had bothered to bring on a nearly armchair, running the remaining distance from the door to the back of the ornament oak table where his shocked boyfriend was still sitting frozen. He tackled him immediately and wrapped his arms around him tight.

"what the actual б-ЛЯДЬ-" Russia squawked undignifiedly as a cold nose was pressed against his neck, and grabbed his waist in attempt to pull him away. He heard a bright laugh as Germany squirmed and dropped down in an uncomfortable position in his lap, planting a kiss on his cheek. "I missed youu~"

"Are you drunk??"

"I come all the way here because I miss you and this is the first question you ask me-" He sniffed and looked at him with a pout. Russia stared back until he caved. "I might have drank a bit on the plane."

Russia groaned with a tired smile and patted his cheek, wrapping his arms around his back and hugging him firmly. "I missed you too." He mumbled into his shoulder, feeling his pent up stress about running a whole country slowly dissipate just by being close to his lover. 

"Aww~" Germany cooed as he traced heart-shapes on his upper back with a finger. 

"But shouldn't you be in Berlin right now? How did they allow you to come to Moscow?" He asked him, voice still muffled in his shoulder. "I had three days without meetings so I asked them for a break to visit someone-" 

"There's no way they would allow that," Russia lifted his head up and looked questioningly at him. 

"Distance will not stop the need for cuddles, nor will politics~" He drawled out with a sloopy smile as he bopped his forehead against his right temple, getting a confused blush out of the bigger countryhuman. "What-"

"It is scientifically proven-" Germany started up, putting both hands on his broad shoulders and staring intently at him, golden eyes sparkling with mischief and love. "That cuddling, releases oxytocin, which is also known as the cuddle hormone,"

"Pft, HORmone-"

"Shut up. Cuddling can lower your blood pressure, help relieve pain, boosts your immune system, and is overall good for your health. It is very, vitally, extremely, important for couples and strengthens the relationship. Remember, scientifically proven!"

"What the hell Ger..."

"LASTLY-" He said loudly, slapping his hands on either side of his cheek and making him look up at him with wide eyes at attention. "Cuddling relieves stress and anxiety, and I have heard that someone has not been sleeping at the right times at night, and so has not been working at efficient rates during work and meetings."

"...did you actually do research on this."

"Obviously, I needed something to do on my flight here. You should know me by now~" He grinned and hugged him again, giggling softly when Russia let out an frustrated but affectionate huff before hugging him back, kissing wherever his lips could reach on his head. 

"I love you so much you damn nerd who does research on hugging someone-" He groaned into his neck, temporarily forgetting about paperwork. "You mistaken, cuddling is not just about hugging someone there are FACTORS involved-"

Russia groaned again and grabbed his face between his hands so that he could kiss him hard on the lips to shut him up. His sentence trailed off in his mouth as he froze in surprise, then slowly kissing back, tilting his head so it was more comfortable for the both of them. 

He pulled back after his boyfriend released his face, blushing red as he watched Russia smirk at his sudden silence. "...fuck off-"

"How about I fuck you? It's what the people want~" 

Germany's eyes glinted dangerously as he whacked his head several times until Russia pleaded mercy between laughs just to get him to stop. He put his arms around him again and tucked his head into the crook of his neck, still grinning against his collarbone. "No, only cuddling." Germany growled as firmly as he could, but he couldn't resist a smile when he heard him sulk.

"Noo-"

"But why~" Russia tried again, attempting puppy eyes at his boyfriend. He was weak for those ice blue eyes and he knew it. Unfortunately Germany only snorted and put a hand over his eyes, blinding him and making them both laugh again. 

"Finee I'll cuddle with you." He sighed, Germany whooped and started to get up from his lap, but then Russia smirked and held on to him tighter, standing up with him in his arms. He casually made his way to the bedroom, a wriggling countryhuman trying to get down held bridal style in his arms.

Yeah I'm leaving this off here, I did write more where they actually cuddled and went to sleep but it threw off the mood of the oneshot so wELP bye bye :D

OH YEAH SHOULD I FINALLY BREAK AND WRITE A OMEGAVERSE AU. THERE WILL BE MORE CUDDLES. NO THERE WILL BE NO UNHOLIES (YET) I JUST WANT SOME CUTE SCENTING AND PROTECTIVE RUSSKI AGAIN
