Welcome back to the minishots, more short stories of fluffiness :DD

Today we have a selection of stories: CобачкаGossip around the globe (Japan and South Korea's marriage), Hoodie, and Zhavoronki

All written in different times and months, so there is no connections between the stories. As I proofread the thing in its entirety the literal writing style between stories is also different which is bizarre-

But I'm trying to write as much as I possibly can before the end of the year 2023 (I don't know if I'll publish any except for a christmas oneshot definitely) because next year is going to be even more busy for me, so even less writing time :'D

I hope you enjoy reading!!!!

Cобачка

Siberia, 1960s. 0500 hours

Most of camp was still sound asleep. Roll call and the morning 3k trek started later in the winter, when the sun rose. Dark clouds covered most of the horizon, ominous that the blizzard that'd swept through their camp yesterday was not done unleashing its wrath upon them.

Thin tree branches were covered in a thick layer of frost. Out of the outskirts of camp, where they kept their sleighs and snowmobiles, the unit's troop of sled huskies slept as well in their little huts, shelter from the stinging winds.

One such husky couldn't fall asleep properly. Her ear twitched again and she finally lifted her head, nose pointed towards the forest. Something was moving around in there, quietly at times, but not quietly enough for dog ears. She got to her paws and trotted out of her hut, shaking off a layer of snow on her body and wagging her tail.

There were scents in the forest, less than usual, but one was fresh. It lead her to the base of a bigger tree, which had recently been climbed. A small 'crack' made her leap away from it, looking upwards to hear a short laugh.

"Boo." RSFSR said, grinning behind the fur of his winter jacket, hanging upside down on a tree branch by his knees. It was risky, obviously, but exhilarating as hell and kept him from freezing alive. The husky wagged her tail harder, letting out a sharp bark.

"Shh, собачка! Нет!" He hissed, pulling himself up with a little struggle, looking down at her with a disapproving furrow of faintly frost-dusted eyebrows. "You can't let anyone know that we're both awake."

The husky walked around in circles under his tree, and he breathed in the crisp morning air of Siberia again, staring out in the darkness. It wasn't his choice to wake up this early, but with how loudly Ivan was snoring in the bunk bed above him, he might have decided today would be a good day to practice his assassinations skills. The forest, if he could call this one, gave him peace of mind.

RSFSR swung his legs over the abyss below, purple eyes gleaming faintly amongst the trees. They let him see a little clearer in the dark, benefits of being a countryhuman in the middle of nowhere, making him seem a little part of the animals that lived here as well.

A soft whining sound made him look down again, seeing the husky pawing at the base of the trunk and scrapping up dirt and snow. He snapped a sliver of bark off the branch he was sitting on, smiling as he lobbed it down, laughing as it got her attention and she started searching for it, burying her nose into the snow.

She snorted, rolling around and pouncing into the snow banks. The army boy up in the tree moved again, climbing to another branch. He tossed another stick down, and she caught it this time, chewing it happily and hearing him laugh again.
