Fluffy vents because I did have a worst day at school :'D

Btw, I'll be updating less from now on, possibly might not even write at all for a couple of months. Because I have major exams coming very very soon, so I'm trying to properly focus on that first. Sorry about that, but I hope you guys will understand.

Enjoy the oneshot!! Some parts might not be very accurate, or just weird, but hopefully still acceptable XD

Russia marched up to their front door with his luggage bag hulled after him right at the same time when he heard Germany skid up to the driveway in speeds probably illegal in a residential area, parking carelessly in their driveway before getting out and slamming car doors loudly to get his stuff, with a scowl on his face.

"I had the Worst day-" He half-snarled when he finally got up to the front door and grabbing a hold of his briefcase before stomping up the stairs. "Oh really? Did you have to face airport security checks?" Russia said back, as equally in a bad mood as he yanked open his suitcase to pour out piles of clothes and his other belongings onto the floor.

"No, but I had to face traffic jams on the way to work." Germany answered when he got downstairs again, his suit gone and replaced with casual clothes. "Psh, those are nothing here. Belgium traffic is nothing, compared to Moscow. How many hours did you have to wait?" Russia challenged and crossed his arms.

"20 minutes. But-"

"I was in the taxi for two whole hours, just to get to the airport." He said like it was an accomplishment, and walked away triumphally to get himself a change of clothes too. Germany grumbled at the mess he made, and started gathering up his clothes on the floor to shove them into the washing machine.

"Well, I bet you still had coffee to keep you sane. The coffee machine broke in the office today." He started again when Russia returned, and yanked open the fridge to root out whatever leftovers they had, since it was already 9 in the night. "Ha, that sucks, but you didn't have a crying toddler screaming for 30 minutes straight close to you." Russia said and went to wash his hands before helping him with the food.

"You had noise-cancelling headphones." Germany scoffed and stuffed a spoonful of mashed potatoes in his mouth without a care. He was too tired and hungry to bother about how and what exactly he was eating.

"I don't like to use them." Russia answered back and started off with the soup straight from its container.

"Yeah, of course. Bet you didn't have four meetings today."

"No, but bet I still had to interact with more people than you today." He grinned and gave the remaining soup to Germany while they switched containers.

"I had a meeting with America's government-" He hissed in his ear like it was a secret, and then took a bite out of the slightly dried up sausage they had laying around.

"Huh- At least your government and his are on good terms. Trying going to one of those meetings when your Me-"

"Okay, what really was the worst part of your day? Mine was finding out that one of the members of the meeting was missing and having to stop the whole thing just to find him. Turns out, he wasn't even supposed to be there, and some stupid guy put down his name which made everyone think he was important to it. We spent 3 hours tracking him down. And now we have to reschedule the whole meeting because we wasted so, much, time."

"Horrible. But you know what I had to do? From Moscow, to the airport, through customs and all that boring stuff, it was crowded, hardly any social distancing. Then there was this lady, who made a whole scene because she didn't get on her plane. She was obviously late to reach the gate and yet. People are exhausting."

"I know." Germany agreed with a groan and stood up in the direction of the stairs. Russia looked down at their empty containers and snapped back up to see him walk away. "Hey! It's Your turn to do the dishes!"

"Not true. I did them last time. Plus, the person who had the worst day should get to shower first." His voice floated around the corner.

"Well, that would be Me!!"

"Uh-uh. It's Me. Go do the dishes, Russ." Germany said again from the stairs, with a smirk on his face. Russia groaned loudly but did as he was told anyway, even put them away neatly before he continued to sort out the situation with his suitcase, sorting out the new paperwork and files that he had brought back.

Too exhausting, he turned off all the lights and walked up the stairs as well, loudly complaining at Germany through the bathroom door until he finally finished quickly, glaring at him playfully with his black hair damp and towel around his waist. Russia laughed triumphally again and stepped in, stripping himself off before washing thoroughly to get rid of the grit from his travel.

About twenty minutes later, he found Germany still attempting to work in their office room, and dragged him back to their bedroom. He flopped face first onto the mattress, hearing Germany laugh before another 'whoopf' landed beside him.

"I could sleep for a year." Russia drawled out when he shuffled around to get comfortable, spotting his boyfriend still face-planting and unmoving on the bed. He had to poke him to get him to wake up again, which resulted in a red-faced Germany and then a laughing fit.

"If we slept for a whole year, what do you think will become of our countries?" He mumbled against his pillow, now in a normal position and facing Russia. "I don't know, probably not much, but imagine the amount of paperwork that would be waiting for us when we wake up."

Germany shuddered and closed his tired eyes. "Don't give me that idea, that would be horrible. I'm not going to do all of that, I'll just go back to sleep. Maybe forever."

"Mhm. If we have to sleep forever, I hope it's like this." Russia hummed and gestured to the both of them, which got another faint blush out of Germany before he yawned and stretched out his arms, blindly reaching for the blanket below them and pulling at it.

"I still think I had a bad day...but it got better when I finally got home and saw you. Even though you looked absolutely pissed." Russia said again with a light tease in his voice, faintly brushing against Germany's arm. He finally got the blanket over the both of them, and was now blinking slowly at him with love shining lazily in his golden eyes.

"Me too. Welcome home, by the way." Germany whispered and scooted closer, pecking his lips lightly. Russia made a happy noise and leant in for another kiss, which made Germany laugh softly as they kissed each other slowly, hands finding each other underneath the blanket and keeping them even closer together.

Russia pulled away first. "I would keep on kissing you, because I missed you when I was away, but I'm too tired right now to miss you properly." He mumbled and held out his arms sleepily under the blanket. "'m going to sleep. Please hold me."

"Hey, I wanted to be the one that was held when you got back." Germany protested, batting at the arms slightly. "Aww...please." Russia whined and rested his hands on his waist, drawing him closer despite his weak complains.

"Ughhh I love you. But it better be my turn tomorrow." He sighed and threw his own arm around Russia's shoulder while his boyfriend wrapped his own around his torso and buried his face into his chest with a happy hum.

"You're so soft. I miss you." Germany smiled and started to pet his hair, playing lightly with the white strands on his fingertips. He only got another hum in response and a slightly tighter hug. "Sleep well." He murmured under his breath and closed his own eyes, fingers relaxing but still tangled up in his hair when he fell asleep.

Short but hopefully sweet. (It's all in good fun. They're not actually angry at each other or something they're just competitive XD)

I hope everyone has a nice day! You deserve it, cuz you're amazing and I believe in you :)

Bye!!
