The following oneshot is going to be different from the typical Rusger content, so sorry about that. I'll try to write some soon, but in the mean time, there's plenty of other previous oneshots to read!

This oneshot is for Bluebunny2017's DTIYS, while technically isn't a piece of art, I really just wanted to show a bit of my appreciation and gratitude for all you're created for this fandom in any possible way I can, which is through writing because I'm not really much of an artist. Your art is superb and so is your writing.

The Adder Stone series is incredible, and it's one of the first fics I read in the CH fandom when I was just starting out that wasn't about anything above 18 or didn't make sense at all. You wrote it so well, with an amazing storyline and characters that just seem so alive and so in-depth. It's really ingrained into my memory and I think it might as well be what made me stay in this fandom for so long.

And then your oneshots are equally just as amazing, they've made me laugh and feel a whole lot better on days that weren't the best. In general I just think you're a really great person, and I know you'll achieve really big things in your life with your talent and kindness.

The art that inspired this oneshot is on Blue's book The top left drawer, and it's really nice and so well-drawn you should definitely go check it out!

Blue, I hope you'll enjoy reading! Same goes for everyone else!

It was a wonderful night for a flight.

Prussia stood by the large window of his study, the wood in the fireplace crackling noisily from the other side of the large room. One single blue eye inspected the land and the sky outside, observing everything thoughtfully.

He took a deep breath in and turned away, decision made at last. The heavy curtains were left open, bright moonlight streaming in and landing on his desk, illuminating the spread of letters and other important documents with matters considering his kingdom.

Inky, pitch black wings trailed behind him as he walked, the hundreds of feathers ruffling for a second before neatly pressing into their right positions again as he folded both large limbs against his back, closing his right hand around a candle on his table before making his way out through the large double doors.

His bootsteps echoed back to him as he walked through a familiar hallway, warmly lit with candles and filled with life. He was the only one walking through it right now, but it was filled with life through memories, and the occasional framed portrait of some people he knew hung up on the walls.

Prussia came to a flight of stairs with his candle in hand and began descending, inspecting the interior of his mansion with one sharp blue eye. Tapestries and large oil paintings hung from one large panel of wall, the rest was mostly barren, grey polished stones that were freshly dusted by his servants. Rooms after rooms spread out from the second floor to the third here, they were guest rooms and living quarters occupied by close friends or family members. Speaking of family members-

"Father?"

He turned around and found his heir, standing at the top of the stairs in his day-time clothes.

"What are you doing out of your room at this hour, German Empire?" Prussia asked calmly. The boy looked slightly taken aback with the abrupt question, but quickly smoothed his expression to indifference. "I couldn't sleep, Father."

His father let out a soft hum and went on his way, taking the stairs step by step and leaving him standing there. GE blinked once and slowly moved his foot forward, running down the stairs after him. "But I was thinking about going to the library, to ready myself for my lessons tomorrow. I will give it my all, Father"
