I slowly open my eyes upon hearing the sounds of the birds chirping outside. I shifted my position to the side and noticed that my boyfriend had already left to do his missions.

There are many disadvantages when it comes to dating a Fatui harbingers like the amount of time we have for each other is very short. The only time I get to see him is when he comes home from his missions but I would have fallen asleep already.

I got up from the bed and went to go do my daily morning routine, once I was finished I grabbed one of Childe's button-up and wore it since I wasn't planning on going anywhere today. I made some breakfast and proceeds to eat it.

After I was finished, I decided to do some chores to kill time and maybe answer a few letters from my relatives. I grabbed the broom and went to work.

It was around 3:00 pm that I heard the front door open. Alarmed by this, I went to go check it out. "Childe?", I called out from upstairs. "Y/n!! I'm home", he took off his shoes and removed his coat and shirt. I rushed down the stairs and jumped on him, making us fall to the ground. "Ah I'm sweaty right now", he puts his hands on my hips and chuckled. "You're home early", I lightly place my hand on his cheeks and gave him a peck on his lips.

"Ah well, I didn't have much to do today and I also miss you" he answered me and lifted me off the ground. "Wanna shower together?".

I stretch my arms and felt someone wrap their arms around my waist. "Childeee let me change first", he whines and lets me go. After I was done changing, I went downstairs and smelled the scent of crab, calla liliy, and mint recognizing it to be one of Childe's special dishes from his homeland, I excitedly rushed down the stairs.

"Woah easy princess, you could've fallen", he smiled and placed my bowl on the table. We ate our meals and Childe volunteer to wash the dishes. I sat on the couch and waited for him to be done. He walked over to the couch and I opened my arms. "Cuddles?", he responded by laying his head on my chest and wrapping his arms around my waist while I take in the scent of his hair.

I heard him mumbled something so I lifted his head up and was met with his sapphire eyes. "Did you say something?", he looked up at me and smiled. "I love you", he placed his head on my chest again and suddenly lifted me up from the couch.

I was placed on our shared bed and he laid right next to me and held me in his chest. "Hmm goodnight princess, love you..", he puts his chin on top of my head and gave me a kiss on my head. I closed my eyes and snuggled close to him. "I love you too..".
