The repetition, the sameness, the undefined routine
a very unexpected way to start a new decade
characterized by isolation, grief, and only internal experiences
events within the well-protected borders of one's mind
feelings generated by intricately thought out scenarios
with scarily similar intensity as the authentic ones
satisfying the brain and appeasing the soul with mundane tasks
walking a tight-rope between sanity and lunacy
paradoxically convoluted elucidations of plain concepts
clouding the cerebrum
and corrupt normality disguised as untainted hope
forgotten inside Pandora's box while the world aches.
