bright silver moon reigning over the night sky
you visit me once again during this frightful time
your light I invite inside of my misplaced soul
to guide it through the darkness that these starless nights cast
to fight off the demons that reside within me
and the ones that circle around me like famished sharks
from this ocean of despair I wish to be lifted
I beseech you, take me into your pearly arms
gently return me anew to eliminate these evils
with the brilliance you bestowed upon me, to fight off the dark.
