Today I thought about trying a new poetic form again just to spice things up lol. This one is the Irish "Dechnad Cummaisc" which is basically a quatrain with internal rhymes, here's more information about it!

taught to quell the forces of mind
with stifled guns
when they come on a starless night
muzzle flash stuns
blighted into meaningless sand
limits and angst
turned to dust with a sleight of hand
fear banned & boxed
and yet they return to me again
finish what's left
dance the devil's waltz in my brain
my bane's fest.
