How can I adequately put it into words?
When it's a wild tide swelling inside me,
moved by the erratic beating of my heart
when unidentified feelings surge up-
emotions that lack the terminology.
So, I create portmanteaus & contractions
trying to connect the puzzle pieces,
in hopes of inventing modern meanings
to concepts old as cursed time.
And yet concepts they still remain,
unnamed and convoluted
for it is the human psyche's anathema
to be scrutinized so callously by the brain.
