and just like that my spring departed
replaced by the inviting warmth of summer,
mulberry trees heavy with sweet fruit again
as the sea is calling my name like an old friend,
while the sun is shining even late at night
and the cicadas resume their tune with delight;
even the trees join in with their afternoon breeze
nature's orchestra preparing for the summer solstice.
