an astounding sight for eyes to behold
mouths making noises so dissonant
devoid of logic so proudly they rant
styling themselves as the wise ones
the confidence in the most ignorant
declaring their gospel, staying vigilant
immune to the truth, talking tragedies
mouths making noises so dissonant
fear of opposition makes them militant
condescending and yet championing lies
the confidence in the most ignorant
uncontested by facts discrepant
and yet engaging in odd disputes
mouths making noises so dissonant
how I wish my thoughts were as important
alas, can you blame them for choosing bliss?
