"Okay Kota, ready to go?" I asked after knocking on his bedroom door.

Kota opens the door, already fully dressed and ready to go.

"Yup! I'm ready" he confirmed, adjusting his backpack straps. I nodded with a smile and messed with his hat, which became a ritual for us at this point.

We both raced downstairs and I resulted to jumping from the rails so I could win.

"No fair!" He whined once he got to the bottom.

"Something a loser would say" I teased and dodged his upcoming hit.

The two of us got out of the house and into the car, driving all the way to the hospital.

I got out of the car and opened the back door so Kota can get out as well. He was fidgeting, obviously nervous about meeting her.

"You okay?" I asked.

"What if she doesn't like me?" He asked while looking at the cracked concrete.

"Hey, there is nothing to be worried about. I think you two will get along just fine" I reassured. Kota took a deep breath and nodded. I smiled and we both started walking towards the hospital entrance.

"Is she all ready?" I asked the women at the front desk. She immediately recognized me and nodded happily.

"Yes sir, she's ready to leave now. As long as the files are all filled out"

"Took care of that yesterday" I responded. Kota and I got into the elevator so we could go to Eri's room.

We stood outside the room and I knocked a few times, but made sure to keep it quiet so she doesn't get scared.

"C-come in" she called. I opened the door slowly and peaked my head in. Her mood noticeable lifted.

"Hey Eri, ready to get out of here?" I asked, opening the door fully so I could walk in.

"Yeah" she answered in a hushed voice. Kota timidly walked in as well, fidgeting in place.

"Eri, this is Kota" I introduced. Kota walked over to her bed, still keeping his eyes on the floor.

"Nice to meet you" he mumbled, avoiding her shy gaze.

"N-nice to meet you too" she answered back just as shy. I was squealing eternally.

"Alright Eri, I got you some clothes so we can leave" I informed, dropping the plastic bag on her hospital bed. Kota and I walked out of the room so she could change.

She walked out a few minutes later. I just grabbed a some cheap clothes at the store, since I had no idea what her size was or what she liked. So it was just a light blue dress that looked a little big on her.

"Here, it's cold outside" Kota said and took off his jacket, giving it to her to wear. She took it hesitantly and put it on.
