"Okay kiddos, go ahead and pick some stuff out" I encouraged once we got to the store. Kota and Eri went to an aisle stacked with different snacks.
This one day camping trip was unexpected, because I decided to be poetic due to wasting time not being with the important people in my life. Aizawa talked my ear off over the phone because I'm missing a day of school though.
So I drove to the store so we can get some supplies. Kota and Eri filled the cart full of snacks and we went to the outdoor section.
I grabbed a simple tent, I haven't put one together in a really long time.
"You probably don't even know how to put it up" Kota taunted. My eye twitched at this.
"Hey Kota"
"What?"
I turned to him and threw one of the sleeping bags at his face before he could react.
"Hey!" He yelled, throwing it back. I laughed in response, catching it and putting it in the cart. I grabbed two more as well as a fire starter.
I'm not rubbing twigs together, no sir.
We went back to the snacks and I got the items to make s'mores. I paid for our items, a bunch of workers were fangirling over me buying from their store. Kota was glaring like a pit bull and Eri was an oblivious angel.
We got out of the store and back into the car. The place I was taking them was a decent distance away from civilization. I used to take Jupiter there all the time, she loved it a lot.
We would get there while the sun was still up, which was a relief. The two conversed in the back seat the entire drive, Eri was slowly becoming more talkative but Kota didn't mind doing most of the talking.
I parked the car and we got out, grabbing our camping supplies out of the trunk.
We had to carry the supplies to the actual spot, but it wasn't that far out. The three of us got to the area I knew very well, because it was mine and Jupiter's spot to just be ourselves.
