Chapter- 40: Bondita Is Pregnant?

Everything was going on well in the RC Mansion. Seemed like Kaka's wish had been already fulfilled. He was content that eventually Anirudh and Bondita had accepted their relationship as a "pati- patni". Now he only wanted the barrister couple to start their family. He wanted to talk to him regarding this but then seeing the situation, he thought to talk about it later. Seeing his children laugh, a small smile crept on Binoy's face. But seems like their happiness did not last long. In a fraction of seconds, the cheerful atmosphere changed to an atmosphere full of worries, anxiety and tension. Bondita who was laughing and blushing all this while suddenly fainted. Fortunately Anirudh who was behind her held her tightly. The family members ran towards the stairs hearing the scream of a shocked Anirudh. Kaka asked Somnath to call the doctor.

Anirudh's POV~
I was extremely happy to see Bondita smile. Her smile brought relief to my heart. I felt like I had got everything. All I want in my life is her love. Every time Som and Batuk teased us, she blushed and I chuckled seeing her reaction. But then suddenly I saw Bondita losing  consciousness and I caught her. Seeing Bondita's condition, tears started flowing down my cheeks. I  had never see her like this. A chirpy  and curious girl was now in such a state. Her beautiful face had grown pale by now. I took her to our room and laid her down carefully. I sat beside her caressing her hair crying bitterly and pleading her to open her eyes and see her pati babu.

The Doctor soon arrived and asked everyone to leave the room. But Anirudh denied and sat by her side holding her hand. But Kaka pulled Anirudh and brought him out of the room. The Doctor closed the door and came near Bondita. She looked at her with an evil smile on her face.
After some time she came out. Anirudh rushed to her.....
Anirudh(crying)- Doctor doctor Bon....Bondita thik toh hai na? Kuch hua toh nahi na usse? Woh behosh kaise hui?
Doctor- shant shant Mr. Anirudh apki patni bilkul thik hai
Anirudh- toh phir woh behosh kaise hui?
Doctor- khush khabri hai Mr. Anirudh. Mubarak ho aap baba banne waale hai.
Apki patni pregnant hai.
Anirudh was shocked till the core.
Anirudh(almost shouting)- Kya!!! Aisa kaise ho sakta hai?
Kaka- kaise ho sakta hai matlab? Aree jo tumne kiya hai usika phal hai yeh.
Som- dada aap toh aise chok rahe ho jaise aapne kuch kiya hi nahi.
Batuk- dada ab toh hum Kaka banne wale hai. Khushiyan banto.
Anirudh(in his mind)- yeh kaise ho sakta hai. Humare beech woh sab toh kal hi hua tha. Toh aaj Bondita kaise pregnant ho sakti hai. Zaroor koi galat faemi hui hai. Mujhe Bondita se baat karna hoga. Par pehele dekh toh lu ki Bondita kaisi hai.
Anirudh entered the room. Bondita was still unconscious. He sat beside her and gently kissed her forehead.
Anirudh- yeh kya halat bana li hai apni Bondita. Utho na Bondita dekho na apne pati babu ko. Kyu sata rahi ho mujhe Bondita....utho na
Bondita slowly gained consciousness. She murmured- pati babu
Anirudh- haan haan Bondita main yahi hu tumhare paas. Bondita tum thik toh ho na kahi kuch dukh toh nahi raha na.
(crying like a baby)
Bondita(wiping his tears)- aap roh kyu rahe hai pati  babu....dekhiye apki Bondita bilkul thik hai. Apke hote hue mujhe kuch ho sakta hai kya? Chaliye rona band kijiye.
Anirudh wiped off his tears.
Bondita- pata nahi kya hua tha mujhe achanak chakkar aane laga mujhe. Doctor ne kya kaha pati babu?
Anirudh(hesitantly)- Woh....Bondita Doctor ne kaha ki tum pregnant ho.
Bondita's smile faded.
Bondita(shocked)- kya!!!  aisa nahi ho sakta. Unko koi galat faemi hua hoga. Main itni jaldi pregnant kaise ho gayi?
Anirudh- wahi toh main bhi soch raha hu Bondita. Kyunki humare beech woh sab toh kal hi hua tha. Toh phir aaj kaise? Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha hai. 
Bondita- mujhe samajh aa raha hai pati babu
Anirudh- kya Bondita ?
Bondita- yehi ki yeh sab zaroor kisi ki sazish hogi. Jo hume alag karna chaha raha ho. Par koun ho sakta hai?
Anirudh- aise toh ek hi insaan hai....
Anidita- Saudamini!!!
Bondita- nahi par Saudamini didi toh London chali gayi thi. Woh kaise kar sakti hai yeh sab?
Anirudh- zaroor yeh Doctor kisi ke saath mili hui hai.
Bondita- haan mujhe bhi aisa lagta hai. Par abhi ghar waalo ko kuch mat bataega. Unko aisa hi lagna chahiye ki main petse hu.
Anirudh- haan ek baar hum sach ka pata lagale phir hum unko sach bata denge.
Bondita smiled.
Anirudh- Bondita tum mera saath dogi na?
Bondita- jeevan bhar. Har kadam pe apka saath dungi.
Anirudh and Bondita exchanged a smile and Anirudh hugged Bondita tightly.
