Everyone had slept except Bondita. Tears were rolling down her cheeks. Her tears were unstoppable. She thought as if her life was ruined. At about midnight Kartik woke up to drink water. He was passing by her room when he heard the sound of sobs coming from Bondita's room. He thought of asking her once. Kartik- Bondita tum thik toh ho na? Bondita- haan Kartik main thik hu Kartik- Bondita tum ro rahi ho kya? There was no response. Kartik was worried. Kartik- Bondita tum darwaaza kholo mujhe tumse kuch zaroori baat karni hai. Bondita- nahi Kartik main darwaaza nahi kholungi. Mujhe tumse koi baat nahi karni. Tum chale jao yahase. Kartik- yeh kya bachpana hai Bondita? Tumhe meri kasam tum darwaaza kholo. (Bondita opened the room. Her eyes was swollen as she had cried a lot. Kartik had never seen her like this. Kartik- Kya hua Bondita? Unable to control her emotions she hugged Kartik and started crying bitterly. Bondita- Kartik meri zindagi barbaad ho gayi. Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha main kya karu. Kartik- Bondita andar chalkar baat karte hai. Kartik entered Bondita's room and made her sit on the bed. He closed the door and sat beside her trying to calm her down. Kartik- ab bolo kya hua Bondita? Bondita explained him everything whatever happened in the study. Whatever Anirudh told her. (Kartik was shocked to hear this from Bondita. His opinion about Anirudh changed completely listening to her.) Bondita- Main pati babu ko kabhi khush nahi rakh payi. Pati babu mujhse aise sawaal kaise puch sakte hai. Woh mere saath aisa kaise kar sakte hai? Kartik- tum chinta mat karo Bondita sab thik ho jaayega. Tum so jao main sab thik kar dunga. Kartik made her sleep and he went back to his room. Kartik (to himself)- Anirudh mujhe pata nahi tha tum apni Patni ke saath aisa kar sakte ho. Tumne soch bhi kaise liya ki tumhari Patni kisiaur se pyaar kar sakti hai. Mujhe tumse yeh umeed nahi thi Anirudh. Main Bondita ko aur dard mein nahi dekh sakta. Main tumhe kal sab sach bataa dunga.
