Chapter-08: Anirudh Questions Bondita

In RC Mansion ~
(Bondita prepared dinner and called everyone down. Everyone came down and started having their food.
Kartik was not there.)
Kaka- Bahu Kartik nahi aaya khana khane. Woh thik toh hai na?
Bondita- ji KSJ woh dopeher tak toh thik tha. Main usse bulakar lati hu.
Anirudh- Aree Bondita tum kyun jaa rahi ho Bihari ko bhej do na.
Bondita- Nahi Pati babu main lekar aati hu. Bhari kaka rasoi mein kaam kar rahe hai.
Anirudh- thik hai.
Anirudh(in his mind)- yeh Bondita uss Kartik ki itni chinta kyun kar rahi hai. Dono ko ek dusre se dur rakhna hoga.
In Kartik's room~
Bondita- Kartik tum khana khane niche nahi aaye. Sab thik toh hai na?
Kartik- haan haan Bondita sab thik hai. Mujhe kuch kaam tha toh socha usse pura karke khana khane aa jau. Kaam khatam ho gaya hai chalo chalte hai.
Bondita- haan chalo
(Bondita was descending down the stairs when her leg slipped and she was about to fall when Kartik caught her by her waist.)
(Everyone was looking at them. Anirudh's heart stopped beating when he saw Bondita in Kartik's embrace. He became furious.)
(Kartik helped Bondita to stand straight and they went and had their dinner. Silence spread all over. After dinner everyone went to their respective rooms to sleep.)
(Anirudh was in his study. He was recalling the incident that had taken place. Seeing Bondita in Kartik's arms was making Anirudh more angry. Meanwhile Bondita entered.)
Bondita- Pati babu aap abhi tak soye nahi. Koi pareshaani hai kya?
Anirudh(unable to control his anger)-
Haan hai pareshaani tum mere sawaalon ka jawaab dogi?
Bondita- ji
Anirudh- Bondita Kartik tumhara kya lagta hai? Tum uski itni chinta kyun karte ho? Kya tum mujhe bhool gayi ho....kya tumhe meri koi chinta nahi?
Kya Kartik sirf tumhara dost hai ya use bhi zyaada? Kya Kartik mujhse bhi zyaada maaine rakhta hai tumhari zindagi mein? Haan ya phir kya tumne Kartik ko meri jagah dedi hai? Bolo Bondita jawaab do mujhe.
Bondita was speechless.....her eyes were about to leave tears. Anirudh's words were continuously ringing in her ears. Bondita not able to control her emotions ran to her room.
Anirudh- Bondita kaha jaa rahi ho?
Anirudh (to himself)- shayad main sahi tha Kartik aur Bondita dost se badhkar hai. Bondita mere saath aisa kaise kar sakti hai?
He broke the vase with anger.
Here Bondita ran to her room and closed the door. She was crying bitterly. How can her pati babu doubt her? How can he question her regarding her relationship with Kartik?
