"Zonko's is number one on the list, that's for sure. We'll find out dungbombs there," Sirius informed the group behind him as he acted as a leader, finding his way through thick blankets of snow.

Valentine had originally planned to spend the day with the girls, but the boys had wisked her away with promises that they'd meet back at the Three Broomsticks later for drinks.

Today, as Valentine and the Marauders made their way down the stony paths of Hogsmeade, the wind blew harshly, chilling Valentine from her toes to her ears, so harsh it rattled her bones.

She'd worn a pair of jeans and a white turtle neck with a rusted-red plaid shirt and combat boots. Her naturally curly hair was piled on the top of her head, baby hairs combed out to frame her face messily. For extra warmth, Valentine had a scarf wrapped around her neck with the Hufflepuff logo displayed clearly, and black mittens on her hands to avoid frostbite.

"And a rocket?" Valentine reminded Sirius, that being the key item needed for their big prank that would take place before Christmas break.

"They should have that too," Sirius concluded with a shrug, pulling his coat tighter against his chest.

Valentine's boots crunched against the snow, her almond shaped eyes scanning the streets around her before landing on a particular shop.

"Wait, wait wait!" She called to the boys, who slowly came to a stop in front of her.

"Can we pretty please go in Honeydukes?"

Sirius rolled his sterling eyes at her.

"Can we do it after we get the necessary supplies?"

Valentine pursed her lips as she glanced between the boys and sweet shop.

"C'mon, Sirius. I ran out of cauldron cakes last week!" At this, Valentine shot a evil look at James Potter, who had been the one to steal her last cake when she wasn't looking.

James grinned devishly at her.

Remus, although pale and tired, stepped forwards.

"You three go ahead and get what we need. I'll go with Valentine. I need chocolate anyways," he proposed, and Valentine clapped her hands happily.

"Sounds good to me! Anyone want anything?" Valentine asked the three boys.

"Sugar quills, please," Peter requested sweetly, and Valentine shot him a thumbs up.

"And you, Potter? Want some cauldron cakes?"

"Nah, I'll just take yours," he said, brushing off her question.
