A normal night

Tokoyami had expected a nice quiet night 

lessons had finished and he was ready to bundle up in his comfiest blankets with a good book 

or that was what he was planning on doing 

a knock came from his window 

looking up he knew his peaceful night-in was ruined 

the LOV members, toga, twice, dabi, compress and shigaraki were staring at him through the glass 

"damm it" was all tokoyami say, throwing his book to the side with a grumble 

"don't be that excited to see us," dabi said sarcastically as tokoyami opened the window to let them in 

"what do you expect?! you could get us all into so much-" tokoyami was about to rant before toga cut him , practically jumping onto him and wrapping him in a hug off

"a little family visit never hurt anyone" she smiled happily 

"yeah! it's been forever since we've seen you little bird" dabi chuckled as he helped toga off of the raven 

"you could have called" tokoyami stated as he brushed himself off 

"phone call!? no! you're too important to us" Mr compress said dramatically 

"Yeah, you're the baby, we practically raised you" twice pointed out 

this was quite true

a 9-year-old Keigo had run away from a neglectful and poverty wrote home with his 2-year-old brother in arms and one night, during a rough storm, joined the LOV 

the rain was heavy and they were running away from the police, stealing food for survival 

Keigo clutched his baby brother tightly and flew fast, eventually coming to an abandoned building 

quickly he noticed a small but big enough opening 

he flew inside and waited for the police to leave 

with a sigh of relief, he allowed himself to relax 

tokoyami made out some whine's before starting to cry 

"shhh, no, no, it's ok, shh, we're fine, I'm here, you're ok" Keigo quietly reassured, holding the baby close whilst bouncing him on his lap 

the little raven had quieted down but he continued to whine

although Keigo tried to provide the best he could, he knew it wasn't enough 

he and Keigo were extremely underweight, tokoyami only wore a black t-shirt and a diaper, and with the winter on the way, it was a miracle his precious little sibling was still alive 

little did they know they weren't alone 

"hey! what are you doing here?" a scratchy voice 

at once Keigo was on alert, feathers ready to bolt or attack

the rough movement causing tokoyami's cries to increase 

Keigo hated it but he had to ignore the need to comfort his brother to face their opposer 

but looking more closely he soon began to drop his guard ever so slightly 

a boy with scraggy long hair, with a hand on his face, Keigo could tell, even with the other boy being 20 steps away from them, that he was shorter and younger
