it's different when you do it

"ple...do..it"

slice, drip...drip

lines of red engraved pale skin

pain screaming for it to stop

but that pain couldn't be felt

all he felt was numb

in the bathroom with one of the kitchens knives, tokoyami traced again and again into his skin in the hopes to end his life

he didn't bother with a note, he didn't have anyone to say goodbye too

if he had been allowed outside at night he would have just found a ditch and done it there

he was so close to the vital veins

just a few more and it would be over

only his concentration was interrupted by the sound of someone entering the bathrooms

slinking into the corner he kept in the dark, when they left he would continue, he didn't want them to worry or be inconvenienced

but as he waited he saw something peculiar happening

a rope being attached to the ceiling

curiosity engulfed the student as he saw the cubical door remain open,

there was a sniffling of sorrow and a sorry being whispered

a voice the raven knew instantly

"Koda!" tokoyami yelled in confusion and panic as he stepped out from his corner to face the open cubical

that was where he saw a rope around the rock-headed student's neck and a note close on the floor

"fumikage!" Koda asked with surprise and horror

only to find himself stepping off the edge of the toilet

strangling him only for 2 seconds before feeling a squishy surface beneath his feet

tokoyami had reacted quickly and used his own body as a stepping stone, creating a barrier between the floor and koda

"koda...chair" tokoyami grunted, the raven was strong but it was no secret that koda weighed much more compared to tokoyami

"oh, right!" Koda yelled once more with surprise as he got back on the toilet

taking a second to catch his breath tokoyami was instantly back on his feet and jumped onto the toilet to unhook the rope around his friend's neck that was still very tightly tied around

"koda, what were you thinking?!" tokoyami asked as he helped his friend down, hand in hand as the two stepped down and out of the cubical, his eyes intensely looking at the harsh marks on the neck

koda seemed to try and explain himself before looking at the raven's arms

they were bleeding and overflowing, a trail could be seen from the corner to the cubical

"toko-" koda began to question with horror before the raven held them back over his chest, getting his shirt covered in his own blood

"you haven't answered my question," tokoyami said defensively
