A monster in U.A

(his beast form kinda looks like this but instead of an owl design, it's a raven) 

Jiro yawned as she walked downstairs in the dead of night

she was usually a sound sleeper, but she guessed thanks to the nap during Aizawa's lesson, she got more sleep than intended and now she was more awake

which she found mildly frustrating, especially as there was nothing to do during this time of night that wouldn't wake the others

so instead she decided she would watch a movie to tire herself, but first, she needed some water

walking downstairs she was surprised by the fuzzy shape just turning the corner at the bottom of the stairs

shaking her head she proceeded, she must have been imagining things

she reached the bottom of the stairs and headed to the kitchen

not bothering with the lights she reached for the glass cabinet and the sink

but as she poured herself a glass she couldn't help but see the new light red glow that surrounded the usually dark room

keeping her calm she slowly reached for the kitchen lights

and with one flick

she did all could to not drop her glass

a large beast resembling a big raven-like monster, with black-coloured eyes with no pupils (and yet was able to produce a red aura?!), the body covered in dark fur, and two dark black wings

it was simply staring at her, sniffing her slightly but stayed standing in the observation

Jiro wanted to scream

to alert the others of the humongous creature that was now standing in the kitchen

but looking at it she couldn't help but see some resemblances

"t,tokoyami?!" Jiro questioned, possibly a little too loudly as the creature squawked lightly and backed away

the eyes, it's FACE, It just HAD to be tokoyami!

but how?

how did this happen, was it something normal to him? was it the effects of a quirk? Jiro had no clue, so instead, she calmly continued her investigation

"hey, hey tokoyami" she soothed but what she could only believe was tokoyami growled lightly, continuing to step back from the girl

"it's ok, it's just me, Jiro, you recognise me right?" she proceeded gently, approaching slower

but the beast was backed into a corner, he snarled as a warning to tell her not to come any closer

"I'm not going to harm you ok, I just want to understand if you're ok, is this normal?" Jiro questioned in the hopes of him providing her with an explanation

Tokoyami merely looked at her, sitting on the floor as a response

"I'm guessing you can't talk in this form huh?" Jiro rhetorically asked

to this tokoyami just preened his feathers

"that's fine, but maybe I should get Aizawa or someone so-" Jiro questioned aloud as she slowly stood from her crouched position only for tokoyami to screech, flapping his new wings and almost knocking things off the walls

"ok, ok! I won't tell anyone, just stop being so loud, you may wake up the others" Jiro agreed with panic as she sat on the floor

tokoyami seemed happy with her response and began to settle once more, even joining her on the floor
