Aizawa sighed as he began walking home
another day, another bunch of kids he had to deal with
he was their teacher and thus he was required to show some care, but in all honestly, he couldn't give less of a shix
this was group seem arrogant
thought being a hero was all about glamour and fame, not thinking that it would take pure witts and determined minds
and from the first 2 DAYS of teaching, they were already crying for their parents
in all honesty, he would be eager and even glad to fail them out
which he was planning on doing, he was going to spend tonight going through paperwork and try to see any reason in keeping some of the students in, which wasn't looking promising
he was turning a corner when he heard it
the moment that changed his life
"come on out little birdy" a slurred voice trilled
Aizawa wanted to ignore the commotion
but his hero instincts told him something was up
a crash of what he could tell was a beer bottle shattered on the floor
"Think ya can just sleep here without me noticing? this ain't a hotel ya know, especially not for little freaky pests that steal food" the voice continued, growing agitated as a drop noise of what Aizawa could guess was his saliva accompany the glass
"p, please sir, we didn't steal any of your food" a new voice entered the area
a child
from what he could tell was a little boy with a soft yet strong voice
this made him stop in his tracks
a drunkard and a child was never a good mix, especially with how the conversation was going
"yeah! so leave us alone, we didn't do anything to you!" another voice added
this one sounded young too but....something was a little off, sounded more scratchy
"Stop yer less, you're gonna pay for your mistakes like all we do" the man slurred once more
yeah no, Aizawa wasn't letting this fly
as he began to approach the commotion he found an average looking man with a brown trenchcoat, long hair and beard standing in front of a pile of broken wooden boxes leaning against the wall separating a person garden from the streets, the boxes seemed damp from the rain and slightly dripping at the corners
regardless of the wetness, the man had one of his hands leaning against the boxes, seeming to be the only thing keeping him up with how he was swaying
but regardless of the man's state, if there were children in the boxes, he had them trapped with no way out
Aizawa although came in a little late was impressed by the children's decision to get to a safe base, which seemed sturdy enough that the drunkard couldn't break into or reach a hand in to hurt them
but that didn't mean they were safe, who knew how people acted around these parts, and thus as a Pro Hero and one that believed that no child should be tormented in such a way walked closer to intervene
"excuse me" he began calmly
the drunk man swayed but turned to face the hero
"eh, what you want?" the man asked angrily
