discrimination is never ok

shoji, tokoyami, midoriya, bakugo and shoto were starving

all five of them had spent the entire day training without much as a lunch break, and by the rumblings their stomaches gave, it clearly showed

"there's a restaurant that serves good soba on my way to school" Shoto suggested to the group

"Sounds good" shoji hummed as they made their way to the restaurant

It was a long trek but they had finally arrived

The group was about to book a table before a waiter came to them in a huff and a snobby attitude

"Um excuse me sirs but can't you read ?" He asked with a matter of fact attitude

"What do you mean by that you baxxerd ?" Bakugo yelled, looking ready to lunge at the staff member before Kirishima held him back

To this, the waiter pointed to the sign on the wall

"no pets allowed"

To this the boys gave a confused look, they didn't have any pets

"This includes birds to you uncivilised brats" he continued, looking bored at explaining himself

Suddenly it clicked

The boys looked from the member of staff to tokoyami

Tokoyami simply looked away, looking to the floor while his hands fiddled with his hoody

Extremely uncomfortable and looking ready to leave

But his friends weren't going to give up that easy

"PET?! HOW DARE YOU!" Kirishima yelled and let go of bakugo

"OUR FRIEND A PERSON WITH THE SAME RIGHTS AS US! HOW DARE YOU TRY TO DE-HUMANISE HIM!" Midoriya joined in

The commotion had caused a scene where every member within the restaurant watched, with both disgust at the staff member and encouragement at the students

But tokoyami didn't like the stares and simply wished to get out of the situation

"Guys it's fine-" tokoyami was about to whisper before shoji put a finger to his beak

"Don't you dare try to defend this vile man, you have every right to eat here like everyone else, and he has no right to treat you like an animal" shoji explained sternly through care for his friend

"Excuse me? What is going on here?" women entered, seeing as to what was causing the loud scene

By the name tag, she was the manager of the restaurant

"I'LL TELL YOU WHAT'S HAPPENING LADY! THIS BAXXERED IS DISCRIMINATING OUR FRIENDS MUTATION QUIRK!" Bakugo yelled, making sure everyone knew what was going on, pointing a judgmental finger at the waiter who was beginning to sweat

The manager looked shocked and appalled

"Is this true Amus ?" She asked sternly

"What? No, I...of course not" he denied waving the question away like a fly

"LIAR!" The crowd and students shouted angrily

"You two-faced-" Shoto began to threaten, his quirk beginning to ignite before the manager stopped him

"I am so sorry for this mans actions gentlemen, please, let me make it up to you all" she began

"Not us you need to make it up to" Kirishima whispered his eyes never leaving the waiter

All the boys had created a protective wall around tokoyami so he was safe from further attacks, the raven in question simply had his hood over his head, to which shoji kept pulling down, saying there was no need

"Of course, if you'd please follow Velma she will escort you to your table," she said as the named waitress came into view

"And you sir, pack your bags! Never in my life have I witnessed such appalling actions from a member of staff!"

"But he's an animal! You want to bring germs and disease into this fine establishment?!" Amus gritted his teeth, trying to defend himself

"Seems I already have! Get out and never come back!" She shouted, revealing her quirk of razor-sharp shark teeth

To this the man ran to collect his things, the crowd applauding the manager and soon went back to eating their meals

Not before snapping a picture of the man and posting it on their social media apps, saying to never hire this man

Meanwhile, tokoyami and his friends were shown to the best table in the house

The manager came to deeply apologies for his actions, but tokoyami said it was not her fault and she had no need to apologise for another's actions

Non the less

tokoyami was treated to a feast completely free to apologise for the discrimination

"Tokoyami, if I knew these actions happened within the restaurant I would have never" Shoto began but tokoyami stopped him

"This isn't the first time, Shoto and it most likely won't be the last, but this time, I'm thankful that you all were there...thank you all for speaking for when I become mute" tokoyami thanked with a genuine smile of his face

"Yeah whatever, just shut up and eat your shxt" bakugo began before finishing off his plate

"But anyone ever tries that bull again, I'll punch their lights out" bakugo threatened, to which all-boys (excluding tokoyami) gave a nod of agreement

Tokoyami wasn't sure if being the only one with the reasonable head was a good thing anymore
