it wasn't unusual to hear some gossip around with the heroes, especially with the pro's, after all, they had to have eyes and ears on everything

so when hawks heard the beginning of it, he was sure to be kept in the loop

"you won't believe what my interns just told me" the hero selkie started

and without doubt, the heroes head turned to hear of the new news

"What did they tell you?" Best Jeanist asked with curiosity, after fixing his hair

"They told me about their crush! isn't it adorable?" Selki asked as he did his best to make a cute face

"really? kinda personal on an internship?" Best Edge shot commented

"we have a good relationship" selkie simply stated

"well? who is it? Gunhead asked

"oh I can't say" selkie chuckled bashfully

"bullxxit, you never start something like that without giving the full story" Mt. Lady yelled

"ok, ok, yeesh" selkie groaned as he began to spill the tea

"it's actually a guy in her class, a boy named tokoyami fumikage" selkie announced

Hawk spat his coffee out instantly

almost choking on at the surprise, not expecting his little brother's name to be dropped so out of the blue

"really! that's so funny!" Fourth Kind laughed

"why?" Hawks asked with fear

" well I wouldn't usually tell my interns secrets but mine does too" the fourth kind announced

"mine too! what are the odds" Uwabami also addedHawks head was spinning

"this tokoyami is sounded very popular, don't you agree hawks? Endeavour asked, although he knew that tokoyami was actually hawked's "intern"

(although slightly miffed that shoto had not shared any interest of his own during their internship )

only that the feathered hero was no longer there

"hawks?" the heroes questioned as they saw a nearby window was flung open that their hinges were torn

"not happening, not on my watch nuh-uh!" Hawks internally panicked as he sped rapidly to UA

Tokoyami was his precious little chic, his fledgling, he was still learning to fly for crying out loud! he was not ready to, ugh he didn't even want to think about it

it wasn't long until he had arrived

and now all he had to do was wait

when the bell rang, he could see his baby brother heading over to the tree in which hawks was perched and efficiently camouflaged

"predictable" Hawks laughed, knowing his brother so well that he would spend his free time outside under the tree hawks had perfectly predicted he would choose

tokoyami sat against the trunk ready to do some medication

but not before he felt himself being lifted up into the tree by two strong hands around his torso

he couldn't help but let out a squawk as he was brought high into the tree's leaved

he was about to scream before the same hands shut his beak and pointed it directly to the face to which was responsible for his new seating arrangement
