shadowy playdate

If there were any certainty's in the students of 1A's life

it was they could always count on Monoma laughing and ridiculing 1A every time they crossed paths

but as recently the blonds attention seemed to be targeted on one student in particular

but it was not for the sake of teasing nor mockery

but more being interested

one day when 1A and 1B crossed paths on their way out of class the blond stopped walked close to the student that had piqued his interest

"can I help you monoma?" the student asked with confusion

"you have an interesting quirk tokoyami, is there a possibility you could share it with me for a few moments?" Monoma asked with a sly grin

Tokoyami was surprised by the question/request, unsure of how to respond

but it seemed that the blond was going to do it anyway regardless of permission and placed a palm straight onto tokoyami's face

"what are you doing with our friend Monoma?" Todoroki asked with a subtle growl, looking back to see the blonde's hand splatted onto the raven's face, only seeing this as an attack

only the blond didn't respond as he removed the hand and placed it on his chest

"whoa" was all monoma let out as he took a moment to process

the sudden feeling of power travelling into his chest and through his veins, it felt invigorating, commanding but at the same time heavy

tokoyami watched as monoma took a copy of his quirk, watching as Monoma struggled to breathe ever so slightly before getting back into control

by the happy, if not crazy laughter he seemed very pleased in the possession of tokoyami's quirk, muttering how powerful he felt

but a surprised face when he felt something moving inside him

soon that "something" began to form into a buttermilk coloured shadow

it was similar to dark shadow except the creature had no representation of a bird but instead, its eyes were much bigger (if not crazy looking) and its mouth symbolized an always cheerful grin

"Hello," it said excitedly and politely

all attention was now on the new figure and the light blond who was simply watching in amazement

but before any of the students could answer, the original shadow formed outside of tokoyami and greeted his fellow shadow in eagerness

"Hi I'm dark shadow, what's your name?" dark shadow greeted

to this the other shadow smiled and was about to answer, only to seem stuck and turn back to his host

"what is my name master?" it asked

Monoma took a moment to think before answering

"superior shadow" Monoma stated proudly

the students simply eye-rolled, but the buttermilk being seemed pleased with the name

dark shadow seemed to be jumping (or hovering) up and down in joy at the sight of another sentient quirk

"fumi, please can I play with superior shadow" dark shadow pleaded as he circled his host

tokoyami was still processing what was going on, but he saw no reason why his quirk shouldn't be allowed a few moments of fun with another conscious quirk
