Hypnosis

Tokoyami couldn't find his mask

he must have left it in the showers or something

he had to pray that his classmates were still sleeping so he could retrieve it without noticing

but just in case he put on some sunglasses in case he crossed paths with them

as he crept out slowly he silently moved himself to the bathrooms

but to his unlucky surprise, his bird mask wasn't there

he ventured of high and low, retracing his steps until he finally made it back to his room

it got to the point where he had to get to class

luckily his hair was the same style as his feathers on his mask, unfortunately, he had nothing to make up for the lack of beak

when he entered the room he was already met with confused faces

non the less he sat in his seat, ready for the questions to commences

"um...who are you?" Jiro asked

"Tokoyami Jiro" answered

his voice confirmed this as took all the students by surprise, even if it was slightly lighter, it still sounded like their usually raven headed classmate

"wait, so your bird head...wasn't real?" sero asked with shock

"no" he stated simply

"Why do you wear it then?" kiminari asked

"my eyes cause a bad effect on people" Tokoyami stated, simply wanting to drop the subject

"why'd you phrase it like that?! now I want to know what they look like!" Kirishima asked dramatically

and it seemed like he wasn't alone

"no, if I don't cover them I could-" Tokoyami tried to warn/advise them before mina came from behind and plucked the sunglasses from behind him

Tokoyami tried to cover his eyes but it was too late

the instant his friends looked into his continuously swirling black and white eyes they were immediately under his control

"ok class what-" Aizawa began before looking at the class

all their divided attention was on one student in particular who was staring deeply into the floor

"what is going on here," Aizawa asked with suspicion

"Aizawa sir, please don't look" Tokoyami begged desperately, tears falling down his no longer feathered face

"Tokoyami?" Aizawa asked in confusion, but he did as the student instructed, instead he looked at the rest of his students

each and everyone seemed to be under a spell...or should he say "quirk"

each of their eyes had turned into black and white swirls

"you have a hypnosis quirk?" Aizawa asked calmly, trying to carefully approach the panicking student

"yes..but..but I can't stop it! my eyes never close and..and that's...that's why I wear my bird mask, I want my mask...make it stop! make it stop" he explained as best he could before he fell into a panic frenzy

"I will, just breath Tokoyami and listen to me" Aizawa continued gently

Tokoyami took deep breaths and let his teacher speak

"you're going to look at me and-" Aizawa began before the boy cut him off

"But sir!"

"you're going to look at me!" he repeated "and I'm going to deactivate your quirk" continued, ignoring the panicked outburst

"no, what if-" Tokoyami began to protest before he was cut off

"that won't happen, just trust me ok," Aizawa asked gently

"....ok" answered shakily

"on the count of three," Aizawa began

"1"

"2"

"3!"

and at once Tokoyami lifted his head to meet his teachers

Aizawa activated his quirk and stared directly into tokoyami's eyes, not giving them a chance to use their powers over him

at once tokoyami's eyes stopped swirling

Aizawa quickly snatched the sunglasses Tokoyami was wearing that were on his desk and placed them on his face

the two let out a sigh of relief as their plan worked

"thank you sir" he thanked with a bow

"yeah whatever, let's just find your mask," Aizawa said as he went back to his normal attitude

but to the teachers surprise the rest of his class were still in a hypnotised state

"It takes a full day before it fully wears off" Tokoyami sighed sadly

Aizawa simply hummed

"well...since their already like this, no harm in making them do some stuff"

"what do you have in mind, sir?"

Aizawa sent the hypnotised students to complete tasks that they would normally put off to last minute

homework, dorm chores etc

Aizawa had sent some of the students responsible for getting them hypnotised in the first place to find tokoyami's mask

which they found was in a tree just outside the raven mask-wearing dorm

"oh yeah, I went outside to read and I must have accidentally forgotten it" Tokoyami laughed sheepishly

"ok, but next time be careful of your things" Aizawa stated as he clicked for Bakugo to bring him his drink pouch

Tokoyami was thankful that his classmates wouldn't remember what they did during their hypnotised states
