Bakugo was getting on tokoyami's nerves

he didn't know what he did but now the blond wouldn't leave his side

it wasn't the usual "I'm stalking you to kill"

it was much worse

Bakugo wouldn't stop looking at the raven with a look of lust in his eyes

even when he was simply spending time with Shoji, he swore he could feel the presence of the blond

at first, he thought he was being paranoid

but then Bakugo soon made it obvious what he wanted

Fumikage was simply walking to his room when he was met with the presence of the blond Pomeranian

he was leaning against his door and looking directly at tokoyami

"Bakugo" Tokoyami greeted, hiding his surprise in his monotone voice

The blond smirked

"tokoyami" Bakugo stated

"what are you wanting Bakugo," Tokoyami asked with a huff

to this, the blond stopped leaning and stood straight

"I'm here to ask for you to go on a date with me" Bakugo admitted proudly

now this put tokoyami in an awkward position

he knew it was hard for Bakugo to share his feelings, especially vulnerable emotions such as love

but he didn't like him in that way at all, and if he were to go on a date it would be like he was leading him on

either way, he was in for a tantrum

so Tokoyami simply sighed and gave his answer

"no thank you Bakugo" Tokoyami stated

Bauko stood there in shock, soon turning into rage

Tokoyami saw this and immediately began to give his reasons, trying to prevent an outburst

"I respect your courage to ask but I don't like you in that way" Tokoyami began before the blond grabbed the smaller male by the collar

"listen bird, this wasn't easy for me to say and you're not getting away with humiliating me!" Bakugo yelled

"Bakugo there is no one around and I am very happy to never repeat this information to anyone, I am sorry and I hope you find love somewhere else" Tokoyami struggled as he tried to keep calm

"but I love you!" Bakugo yelled with a tinge of confusion

in what Tokoyami took as the first time he had seen him truly vulnerable, but Tokoyami wasn't giving in

"how is that possible, we barely spend time with one another what exactly is there that you "love" about me?" Tokoyami stated and asked, finally getting free from the blonds grasp

"well, I love your power, determination, honesty, loyalty and courage" Bakugo began before tokoyami cut him off

"and I admire that about you, but love is deeper, love is a set of emotions and behaviours characterized by intimacy, passion, and commitment. It involves care, closeness, protectiveness, attraction, affection, and trust. to know everything about your partner and always being there for them, love is deeper than what's on the outside and getting to know everything on the inside, we have not had this Bakugo so if I were to say I love you is just a lie" Tokoyami stated with true passion

Bakugo looked at the bird with awe, wonder of how insightful the raven head truly was

and it made him realise he was being unfair

looking at tokoyami's perspective it was true that they hadn't grown that bond

in his eyes, they were just good friends

and so it would a lie to say it was love

it was just admiration

and this made Bakugo scoff at himself

"I guess you are right, I wasn't thinking of it like that" Bakugo admitted shamefully

"do not apologies ...seriously, it is creepy coming from you," Tokoyami said

now that earnt an amused grunt from the blond

"ha, that coming from 1-A's edge lord" Bakugo laughed

the two would never forget that day

even though it was a bit embarrassing at first, it allowed their friendship to grow further

nothing happened after that, tokoyami soon dating shoji and bakugo with Kirishima

but the two were always close friends

for better and worse
