Hawks flew as fast as he could to where the students said his intern was

he just got word of what was happening on a small island he knew that the kids needed support

They were strong and he didn't doubt their abilities

But he didn't underestimate the villains either

They were upcoming heroes, yes, but they were also just kids

he flew fast

faster and faster to help

when he got there he began to search for the students

he swore he saw some and was ready to help them

but that's when a familiar purple shadow claw was seen

an explosion of the rubble of what was once a sturdy cave

even this high up he could see it

and he wasted no time in diving down to help

Hawks arrived to see a massive pile of boulders

and a limp hand

Hawks instincts kicked into action as he sent his feathers to lift the rocks, himself also helping out

Hawks were quick and were eventually able to see who's hand it belonged to

he dreaded and hoped it wasn't who he thought but he was unfortunately correct

there was an unconscious body of tokoyami

Hawks dug deeper to get him out of there

only to be surprised once more

tokoyami's body was in lying upon another student in a protective position

tokoyami had saved a classmate while large rocks came crashing down upon them

taking the damage as he tried to shelter his friend from the attack

and by the gashes all across his body, it was a big attack

"selfless baxxard Hawks sighed as he reached to the students

carrying mina in his arms whilst holding tokoyami gently but closely on his back with his feathers

"h, hawks?" a new voice entered the room

looking down he saw tokoyami's classmate wearily wake up

Hawks was a little worried about the pink girl, she didn't seem as bad as tokoyami but she had red stingers on her side when he found her

he was able to remove them and it seemed that whatever it did to her was wearing off

"Yeah, it's me" Hawks smiled reassuringly

Mina smiled weakly before it dropped as she looked to hawks' back, there she saw tokoyami still unconscious

"don't worry, he'll be fine," Hawks said as he noticed what she was looking at

he said this both to the scared student and to himself

when he eventually got back he was met with a set of scared and shocked students

running up to him and asking if they were alright

luckily Mina was feeling stronger to tell them what happened and Hawks was able to carry on for her after her blackout

everyone simply looked to tokoyami in awe and respect

the two students were taken to the medical wing to be cleared up

mina other than a few little scrapes and bruises from a fall and the cuts where the red spikes was fine and just needed some plasters

tokoyami on the other hand had to have a deeper check on the back of his head and back as that's where the biggest damage was, he had deep cuts, some of his ribs were broken and a bruised spine

it didn't seem the raven was going to be able to move for some time, but the important thing was that it wasn't permanent

to this, the class and teachers sighed in relief

they allowed the hero to rest in peace as they set sail for home

ensuring that no further harm came to the little raven

he left him out of his sight for one minute and this happens

he was to never make a mistake like that ever again
