A spiritual saviour

"higher dark shadow!" Tokoyami commanded

"We don't have time fumi! if we don't go now! there's no chance we'll make it out of here alive" dark shadow argued

"if we go back the whole city will be destroyed! we can't, we have to get higher" Tokoyami cried

"please fumi! we won't make it!" dark shadow cried in desperation

"a heroes aim is to save all, even when they can't save themselves" he stated as he reached to hold one of dark shadow's claws as the last of his tears ran down his face

Tokoyami's lifeless body was found a full month today

there were no warnings

it was a reasonably normal morning

they had never expected a sudden class gathering where Aizawa proclaimed that

Tokoyami fumikage

their resident little raven

was dead

the class had asked if they could say goodbye, asking to see the body

but Aizawa turned pale

some swear he was shaking

refusing the students to see the body

or at least

what was left

but Aizawa still allowed the class to hold a funeral for their classmate

his family, his classmates, many pro heroes had come

Although he seemed to be a loner, Tokoyami was a loyal and easy to get on friendly friend

so much so that every single student from U.A had also come to say goodbye

it had been a month since that the students tried to return to normal, but the feeling of misery and loss never left

some students would lay flowers next to his grave and simply talk

others would be found outside his dorm bedroom, either awake and staring into space or sleeping a nightmare filled sleep

it had come the time that his family wished to collect his belongings

the class had volunteered to collect these belongings

it was the last piece of closure they believed would be able to help them at peace

no one knew how Tokoyami died

the heroes and police had searched high and low to find a reason for the raven's death, but it was fruitless

the closest they got to was parts of his body descending from the heavens

so this was the closest the class were ever going to get

"heh, remember how embarrassed he got when we had the room contest?" hagukara laughed sadly

"his feathers would also poof whenever he blushed" momo sighed with a sad smile

although they tried to make conversation, a simple 2 sentences of remanences were all they could get out

as the class moved the raven's belongings gently into boxes, Kirishima found something that was surprising, and yet, so expected

"the guy was chained to his aesthetic" Kirishima chuckled as tears began to form
