Aaron keeps driving and looking for his car. He has no idea where Kian is. He knows a lot about Kian but has no idea where he would be in this moment. Aaron has no idea where him himself would be if something like this happened. He pulls up to the park parking lot to make a U-turn. He picked a lucky spot to turn around because low and behold, Kian was there. He's in Aaron's car, hands gripped on the steering wheel. His knuckles are white. He just sits there is silence with tears running down his cheeks. Aaron grabs the car handle and sits in the car with Kian. He sits there in silence for awhile.
"How are you feeling?" Aaron asks. He waits awhile for Kian's answer.
"How do you think I'm fucking feeling?!" He blurts. Aaron gives him a pass in the moment.
"I'm asking to help. You know what you just did was wrong but I understand. You had a lot going on in your brain. You are str-." Aaron starts.
"HOW DO YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL!!" Kian stops him. Aaron can feel himself wanting to raise his voice.
"You know what Kian? I was trying to help you but your out here having a fit over this. Imagine how Vanessa feels. She was distraught and didn't know what to do and you left her there! You're the only person that could have been there for her. If she is pregnant you want to just walk out?! You of all people should now what it's like to grow up without a father. You really want someone else to go through that pain? I can't believe you." Aaron rarely raises his voice but Kian made him upset. Really upset. The more that he thinks about it, the worse it gets. All that both Kian and Nessa have been through with parents and he would do that to her? It struck a nerve.
"So how do I fix it?" Kian says. It takes Aaron by surprise. It struck a nerve in Kian too. He can't believe that he did that. He struggles to find what made him do that. He doesn't know what got into him.
"I don't know. That's on you but I think a good idea to turn around." Aaron says. He gets out of the car and and goes to his. He turns around and goes back to the twins house. He thinks he's going to pick Roni up so that Kian and Nessa can sort things out.
Roni picks her head up from thinking. She gives the door handle another wiggle. It's still locked. "Duh" she thinks to herself. She takes a bobby-pin and wiggles it in the door lock. She finally feels the door give in and she makes it open. She grabs the pregnancy test and sits next to Nessa.
"Talk to me." She says
"He's gone." Nessa mutters.
"No he's not. He's going to come back. He just needed a minute. He's going to come back I promise." Roni says.
"Does he not love me?"
"I know he loves you, it was just a lot to handle. I promise you he will come back. I'm not saying what he did was right but it was how he reacted. I know he knows how to do the right thing and come back. Right now I need you to take the test. We don't know if your pregnant or not. Maybe you won't have anything to work about." Nessa takes the test out of Roni's hand. Roni closes the door and let her take the test in privacy. She hears the door open. She sighs. Kian's here.
"Is she ok?" He asks
"Go check. She's taking the test." Roni says. She's short with Kian because she knows he shouldn't have walked out. Aaron motions for her to come with him. She grabs her phone and book bag and leaves with him.
Kian heads up the stairs. He knocks on the bathroom door. Nessa tells him to come in thinking it's Roni.
"Hey, I'm sorry. I don't know what else to say other than sorry. I shouldn't have done what I did. It was so many emotions going through my head and I didn't know how to deal with it. I didn't put your feelings into context. I regret that but I'm here for you now and I would love for you to let me be here for you in any moment. Please talk to me." He says. Nessa looks at him for a moment.
"Kian, I'm scared." Is all she says. He takes her into a hug. He sees the test on the counter. He doesn't look until Nessa is ready. They break away from the hug. Kian sits on the floor and helps Nessa sit down beside him.
"You ready?" He asks
"As I'll ever be" Nessa responds. Kian reaches his arm out and picks up the test. Nessa buries herself in Kian. She's scared for him to flip it over. He pulls her closer. He doesn't know how to read it so he needs her to look. He flips it over.
Aaron and Roni go back to his house. They are tired of being mediators for the day but it doesn't mean that they aren't worried for Kian and Nessa. Having a kid at this time is not the best idea and they're going to struggle.
"Would you leave me if I was pregnant?" Roni asks
"Here you go asking dumb questions. You know I wouldn't. It did put it in prospective today though. I don't know how I would react but I would always come back to you." He answers.
"See, it wasn't a dumb question." She teases.
Kian flips it over. He looks at it hard and Nessa starts crying. Kian looks at it and sighs. It's negative. Nessa crying from relief. She would love to have kids with Kian by not right now. Kian hugs her. They're going to talk about what happened later but they need each other right now.
