Aaron has put a lot of thought into what he thought about with Roni. He's going to get her a promise ring and wait until the right time to give it to her. The tricky part wasn't deciding whether or not to give her a promise ring, it finding the ring it's self. It can't be like an engagement ring or a wedding ring. It has to be it's own thing. Not to little or too big. He's not the greatest at finding jewelry so he's going to struggle.

Roni is kind of bored. She's got her project finished. That's what all of her attention was on. Everyone else has things to do. Aaron still has to go to practice and workouts. He has to keep up and secure his ranking in the basketball players top 100. Nessa is busy taking time for herself so that she can figure out what she wants to do in life. Kian is always working on art. Alex is preoccupied with this whole scrimmage thing. All the other free time he has is used for school and something else. No one really knows what he does in that other time. Mariah and Luke are always with Malaya. That's what a parents job is. She can't run to Lauren because Lauren had totally distance herself from everyone, so she's stuck. She has time to think and she hates that. For the first time in forever, nothings happening in her life. She thought that this would be the best moment but it's actually really boring and depressing.

Since Malaya has been able to walk, she hasn't stopped moving or growing. She's nearing another major milestone, she's turning one. Mariah can plan a big birthday for her like she's always wanted to. This is one of the other many things that she loves about being a mom. She enjoys seeing her daughter grow and be happy. It's a bittersweet moment because she wants her to stay her baby forever. Luke sees how fast Malaya is growing and it shocks him to. His little girl is growing up to a big one. He and Mariah are already wishing time would rewind.

Kian has really found peace in his art. Painting and taking pictures is his happy place. The only thing that makes it better is doing it with someone that takes him to his happy places. Nessa spends time with him sometimes when doing art. A part of her self discovery journey is healing and bettering her relationship. Spending time doing things each other like is a part of that. He is glad that Nessa applied for a college near him. They can both have their individual happiness and moments like don't have to end.

Nessa has really been having success with her self discovery journey. Spending time with Kian, finding new hobbies, getting ready for college, and really being herself. It's all great. She has honestly never felt this happy before. Her mind doesn't go to her regrets of how much she hurt others, her mom's uncontrollable actions, or her dad's untimely death. When it does, she's found healthy ways to cope with it. She's ready to move in life.

Alex was really happy with what happened with Niyah. They decided to take it slow and that's great because his mind has got to be on the scrimmage. He's to close for him not to get it. Niyah keeps him updated on stats and keeps a good track on what the Dolan twins are doing. He makes sure to double up in what they're doing. That's what it takes to out do them. He's lost himself a couple of times but he's brought himself back. He will never fall back into the way that he used to be. Between his practices he does all his work. Any extra credit work he can find or is offered, he does. He's never worked this hard for something and he will accomplish it. The only other free time he has is spent with Niyah. That's another thing that is going to work. He's going to make this work because he brought out a side in him that he's never seen before. This work ethic has never been there before. The least he could do is put his best foot forward in this relationship.

Niyah is extremely proud of Alex. How couldn't she be. From not being on the list to almost beating the twins, he's had such an improvement. She helps him because she has faith him. It's been awhile since she's had faith in anyone. She's been done wrong so many times before. She prays that Alex won't be the same. She knows that he won't but somewhere deep down in her heart, she feels that doubt. How could she not? Her dad promised that he would take the best care of her, but he's never even home. Her mom said she would keep off of drugs and keep her brother safe but neither of those were upheld. Now look at her putting trust into someone else, just hoping that the trust won't be broken again. Needless to say, she's going to put her all into her dream and into Alex's. He does that for her and he deserves that from her. This is going to work. They're both determined to make it work.

With the scrimmage being a week a way and three days after that is spring break. Aaron has finally decided on a ring. Alex is going to make it through this scrimmage. Everything is going good. It's been awhile since that has happened. The only bad things that looms over is that graduation is coming and a big anniversary. That means that they're growing up and leaving each other. That's going to be really hard. The bond that they have is unbreakable. College isn't going to change that but it's going to put a strain on it. For now they aren't going to think about that and just think about all the good things that are going to be happening in their lives.
