"Iwa-chan, Makki, Mattsun, please!"

The captain of Aoba Johsai was currently begging the other third years on his team.

"Absolutely not, shittykawa," Iwaizumi huffed.
"It's kinda romantic," Hanamaki shrugged.
"See! Please, I really like her and I can't do this without you guys!"
"I'll do it," Mattsukawa said, giving in.
"Mattsun, you're the best!!" Oikawa grinned.
"If Mattsun is doing it, I'll do it too," Hanamaki sighed.

The three members turned to face Iwaizumi who let out a loud sigh.

"Fine, I'll do it," he groaned. "But you owe us all ramen."

Why was the great king doing this?

"Girls, girls calm down," Oikawa said, a bit flustered. "I have a match to get to or else Iwa-chan will get mad at me!"
"He calls Iwaizumi-san 'Iwa-chan!'" a fangirl squealed.

His cheeks flushed a bright red and when he looked up, he seen the most beautiful girl he's ever seen.

H/C and bright E/C eyes. He was mesmerized.

He jogged over to her and smirked.

"Hey cutie, what's your name?"

The girl glanced up and continued walking, ignoring the setter.

"Wait!" he whined. "I'm Oikawa Tōru, I'd like to take you out some date!"
"No thank you," she said coldly. "The only time I'd go out with some egotistical player like you is if you'd sing a song and danced for me."

And she left.

The song Oikawa chose was a five person song, so he convinced Yahaba to do it with them.

"Let's go!" Oikawa said nervously as he walked to go on stage.

Rehearsals with this group were pure chaos.

"CRAPPYKAWA, YOU'RE OFF KEY!"
"But the note is so high!!"

"I can't do this, this song is too hard," Yahaba whined.

"Please just try! I really want her to go out with me!"

Y/N bolted up as she watched setter and his friends join him onstage.

"Yahoo everyone! I'd like to dedicate this song to the girl who told me that I could take her on a date if I sang a song at the talent show," he winked. "You know who you are."

Oikawa's face bloomed into a smile as he nodded his head, excitedly.

"Oh, I still don't know your name," he said, hurriedly.
"L/N. L/N Y/N," she smiled.
"See you then, cutie."

This one shot had been an idea of mine for years now but I felt like now would be the best time to try it and with Oikawa!!
