Riding in the back of the Uber, Chris and Taehyung pull up to Club Avenue on the night of December 31st with promises that the girls would be there just a little bit later. After Taehyung and Ria met up with Chris and Hannah at the bar the other night after work, it was brought to their attention that neither one of them had any plans for New Year's Eve and ended up inviting their friends to tag along.

Since the girls wanted to get ready together and hang out without the guys over at Hannah's place, Taehyung and Chris just pre-gamed a little bit back at Ria's apartment. The drinks at clubs are always extremely overpriced for no legit reason and since it's New Year's Eve, the guys wanted to at least be a little buzzed by the time they went their separate ways at the end of the night.

Sitting down at the bar with an alcoholic beverage for himself and one of Ria's well-known favorite cocktails already waiting on her, Tae keeps his eyes trained on the entrance for her arrival, hoping she'd make it there safely. His heart would speed up every time he felt the gush of wind blowing against his skin, signaling yet another group was being allowed inside but would get a bit disappointed when he didn't see her face.

Trying his best to not worry too much, he brings his drink to his lips to allow the burn of liquor to flow down his throat. Even though he had been to this club in the past, he really didn't want to be here. Nightclubs were only fun for so long until they became a repetitive habit and he obviously didn't have any desire to dance with any of the single girls. The only reason why he was here was for Ria to experience the life of a young adult for once and since Chris still hasn't come back from the restroom, he was left awkwardly hanging out alone.

"Mr. Kim!" Ria's assistant, Jane, happily skips up to him. Clearly already under the influence of a few shots and looking very festive in her short silver sequin party dress and her New Year's Eve headband bouncing with every step.

Chuckling, he swivels around on his barstool to greet her, "Happy New Year's Eve, Jane!"

"Happy New Year's Eve!" She shouts over the loud music, "Where's Miss James?"

"She should be here any minute!" He informs her with a nod to her waiting ruby-colored drink, "Where are all of your friends?"

"We're right over there!" She points to a section of the dance floor with a group of at least ten people dancing together. Some looked like they may have been dating while others were obviously single and ready to mingle. All of them were definitely feeling buzzed if not on the verge of being completely trashed and it was only a little after ten o'clock.

"I'll have Ria come say hi when she gets here!" He states with a polite smile.

Another crowd of people begins to file in and Tae immediately cranes his neck to look for her. Quickly glancing behind him, he looks for Chris as well but he's still nowhere to be seen. The realization isn't much shock to him since the lines for the restroom were so long to begin with.

"Oh, Mr. Kim..." Jane croons with a tap to his shoulder and a wide smile.

Focusing back on the young assistant, he sees her nod her head towards the entrance as a hint to what she's referring to. Following her line of vision, Taehyung sees the girl, no... woman, he's madly in love with wearing none other than that same sexy red velvet dress that made him struggle with his train of thought the first time she had worn it.

He can't seem to stop the smile spreading across his face with pure admiration twinkling in his eyes. It was as if everyone else around her blurred away while she remained crystal clear with her long hair cascading down her back when she turned to look for her friend right behind her. Her bare legs glistened with a shimmering oil and her velvet plump lips matched the crimson shade of her attire.
