prologue

eyes fluttered open as he quitely wake up just to discover an unfamiliar surroudings— a place that is covered in whites and smells really nice, something he never smell before.

" nice to meet you here, kang taehyun." he looked up just to see a man with an all white suit, smiling sweetly to him, towering above him. the man reached his hand foward for taehyun, signalling him to accept it.

the clueless boy accepted his hand hesitantly, using his hand as supporter while he's trying to stand up. he furrowed his eyebrows, scanning the place in confusement.

" why am i here?" he asked, shifting his gaze back to the man again.

" because you're dead."

" no way..." he gasped in surprise. if he's dead, then why can't he remember a single thing?

" yes you are, kang taehyun. actually, no one knows you're dead."

" what? how?" he squinted his eyes , really doesn't understand what is happening right now. is he really dead?

" you don't remember anything don't nt you? well thats your business to find it yourself. but that's not why you are here right now."

" then why? if this is a stupid prank or dream, please stop it?"

" unfortunately for you, neither." the man let out a small chuckle before a soft giggles left his mouth, seeing taehyun all confuse.

" then? please explain. i really don't understand shits."

" okay boy, calm down. here, i give you only 40 days to accomplish your mission before you turn back into a human."

" what? does that means i can be a human again??" taehyun's eyes lit up hearing those words. not so hopeless, he guess. he's willing to do anything as long as he can be human again. after all, he's not ready to die yet.

" yes, if only you accomplish your mission in 40 days."

taehyun let out a small scoff,
" what mission?"

" find her."

" find who?" taehyun slightly tilted his head, his expressions explain it all.
wondering who could the man meant by 'her'

" find your soulmates."

and that's how the journey of kang taehyun began.
