40 Days Finding You ➳ Kang Taehyun [END]

" y/n? y/n!" she scrunched her nose, bearing with the pain when she can hear some familiar voices keep lingering on her ears. she moves her fingers, trying her best to keep her heavy eyelids open. her breathing got unsteady but fortunately only for a few seconds before it came back to normal.

" t-taehyun.." the word came out from her mouth without her realizing it. she can feel someone holding her hand tight.

" y/n.." the voice said again, with a slight crack at the end of the sentences as if that person was crying.

with all the energy left, she eventually fluttered her eyelids opened halfway, trying to adjust with the sudden light that slipped through her eyes. she groaned in pain with the sudden sting on her head, clutching the right side of her head with her palm, bearing with the inevitable pain she's holding right now.

once her eyes are completely opened, her gaze immediately found a glimpse of someone that never fails to give her butterflies in the stomach. someone that she will not think about every day.

" taehyun..." she mumbled lowly, throat dry and sore. feeling herself getting weak even though she just said a word.

" y/n...I'm here. t-you're awake!" her eyes met with the sight of red puffy eyes taehyun who's now still crying his eyes out but this time with a small smile tugging into his lips.

" w-wait a bit i- how can I call the doctor?!" taehyun went panicked for a while, but all his thoughts eventually disappeared the moment the wardroom door flung open, revealing Mr. and Mrs. Kang who's now standing at the door frame with wide eyes.

" y/n!" Mrs. Kang happily shouted, dropping all the things that she brings on the floor before dashing towards y/n with teary eyes while Mr. Kang did not waste any time, immediately left the room to call the doctor.

After some checkings with the doctor, the Kangs left y/n and taehyun alone in the wardroom, giving them access for them to talk. Even though they can't see him, their parents' instinct keeps telling them that Taehyun's here somewhere in the room and they need to give time for them to sort things out finally.

" H-how long did i sleep?" she started, looking straight into the boy's still red eyes due to overflowing tears that he shed every single day.

" 3 days," he said, making her mouth slightly parted, not expecting that she's being unconscious for that long.

A comfortable silence befell between them when all of a sudden, taehyun speaks something that somehow scattered her heart into pieces.
" i-im sorry.." his voice cracked at the end of his words as his hands turned into tight fists, fighting the urge to cry again.

" why are you sorry? you did nothing wrong." she spoke softly, giving him a reassuring smile, trying her best to convince him that it wasn't even his fault in the first place.

" I-its my fault! I hurt you badly. you've been laying here unconscious for three days all because of me! I know it's going to hurt you but i still agreed to it. I've hurt you not once but twice! I'm terrible, fuck i don't even deserve to be a human again." he spoke with all his might, clutching his fists tighter than before that it turned white.

seeing the boy's face getting all red, she brought her hand near his, intertwining their hands together, making the boy look up just to meet with a sight of all smiley
y/n.

" I refuse to believe it's your fault."

" y-y/n...i'm sorry, okay? Its... it's just i love you so much and seeing you hurt like this hurts me as well. I don't want to hurt you again. I don't want this to happen again. I'm really sorry that I'm the cause of this. Please..i'm really sorry-"

the boy was cut off suddenly when he felt a pair of lips attached to his, preventing him to talk furthermore. A single tear dropped from his eyes as he brought his hand up at the back of her nape and another one was placed on her tiny waist, holding her as if she's the most fragile things of earth, kissing her back passionately.

y/n slowly wrapped her arms around the boy's neck, slightly tilting her head a little to deepen the kiss more. It was slow and full of longing and importantly, it has love all over it. As if both of them had been waiting for this dreamy moment to happen. Almost like a dream come true.

As much as the two don't want the moment to end, they eventually pulled away to catch a breath while their foreheads are still attached together. They stared at each other for good damn seconds until y/n let out beautiful giggles that sounds like music to his ears.

" I love you too, dumbass!"

Taehyun eyes enlarged as the words came out from her mouth. Honestly, to say, he doesn't even realize he confessed just now when he said those genuine words. But that's not the point right now. The point is, they kissed and y/n just said that she loves him back and that's enough to send butterflies all over his stomach with his cheeks tinted red.

" wait...you do?" the question came out rather shaky, mind still processing what just happened within seconds ago.

" If i don't why would i kiss you, idiot!" she giggled softly but then turned into a laugh session when taehyun joined in, laughing at their silliness together.

finally, took them long enough to eventually confess.

oh yes, the moment we've been waiting for finally freaking happen JJAJJSSJSJ did they confess too fast? I hope they don't 🤡🤡 anygays at least they are happy for now.

for now.

Let them live happily for a moment after those stressful shits happened behind before the drama start 🤡🤡
