y/n ran as fast as she can, keep glancing on her wrist watch with thin layer of sweat flowing down from her forehead. she was late. and its all because she forgot to set her alarm and now she ended up being late for 15 minutes. a day just started and she already fucked up.

when she arrived infront of her classroom, she immediately slided the door opened, revealing the teacher, who's writing something on the whiteboard but guess not anymore now. not after the sudden intrupt that made her stop herself from the lesson.

" y/n, you're late." she said sternly while placing both of her hands on her hips.

" i know...i'm sorry." y/n stared at the classroom's floor, doesn't have the guts to look into her fierce eyes.
hint of regret filling inside her as she keeps cursing herself in head.

" detention for you. now, go back to your seat." she simply said before continue the lesson, as if nothing happened just now.

y/n just nodded slightly before slowly walking back to her seat, while meeting some of her classmates mocking gaze. some of them were laughing, whispering and staring but y/n couldn't care less. It's just been a week since she transferred to this school but she honestly cannot understand what's s wrong with the students here. she glanced at the empty seat next to her before slowly sitting down on her chair and taking out her books. she knew something was wrong. by what she heard, the owner of the empty seat was a famous boy who's now gone missing for 2 months without any tracks. It's scary, she admitted. other than that, she also heard that this boy somehow is a top student in this school, that's explained why the teacher wasn't really happy knowing the top student gone missing. he's most likely the apple of the eyes.

she thinks she heard his name somewhere before. it's something like kang taehyung? taeyeon? taeyong? she also don't sure.

but that's all she knew. she doesn't have the urge to ask about the said boy to anyone eventhough her curiousity only increased day by day. it's all because she has no friends. it's all started when the teacher decided to assigned her to sit next to this empty seat.

she still remember how her classmates gasped dramatically when the class teacher said that she will be sitting next to the empty seat. she was clueless by the reactions back then but now she understand very well. her seat is a seat every girl dreamed of. look like everyone adores him so much, that it makes her more curious now.

but she knows everyone was just being childish, thats why they started to treat her badly. she really don't mind though. it's not like she can't live alone. she can be independant and she knows how to manage herself. although, it didn't help that much because she's still curious about the said boy. people said that his look is in god tier level so she's been wondering a lot

" hey, go buy my lunch." a girl approached her with another two students tailed behind her. y/n furrowed her eyebrows before scanning the girl from head to toes. she swears she has never seen the girls before and she's hundreds percent sure that the girls belong to another class. then why is she here all of a sudden?

" stop staring at me like that and go buy me something because i'm hungry" she slammed her hand on the table making y/n jolted up in surprise a little. just thankfully she didn't let out any scream because that would be hella embarrassing.

y/n scoffed before leaving the girls dumbfounded, making the whole students that witnessing earlier squinted their eyes— even start whispering among each other too.

thats the school's trio. a gang of three consist of the leader, Hye Jin and her two minions. known for being problematic and obviously has been crushing on that tae- whatsoever his name is. they apparently, have been disturbing any girls that try to hit on taehyun and now eventhough he went missing, she still didn't stop. y/n think it's better to no get involved with them at all.

y/n was beyond upset so she didn't go to the cafeteria because all of a sudden, her appetite is gone. she's orginally hungry since she skipped breakfast earlier and she was planning to eat but now not anymore. she literally wants to go anywhere but class.

and thats how she ended up at the back of the school. Its been her comfort place ever since her day one here and the best part is that students rarely go here so it's free for her to take a nap, or doing whatsoever she wants.

but today feels different. why is that?she also cannot take a guess. she felt another presence other than her but when she looks around, no one was here. who could it be then?

and as if on cue, the bushes suddenly moving, making y/n gulped the lump on saliva down her throat harshly.

she slowly approached the said bushes, reaching out her hands foward and attempting to see what's behind but before she can even do that, a boy suddenly jumped out from the bush making she backed away immediately— resulting her to end up falling down the grass.

" who are you?" y/n asked while trying to stand up again but the said boy doesn't seem to be aware that she's asking. heck, he acts like y/n wasn't even there.

" hey!" she slightly raised her voice, making the boy earlier instantly shifted his gaze to the girl again.

the said boy grown confuse. hesitating, he raised his index finger and pointed to his chest indicating him. "me?" he said.

" theres no one here besides us. and yes, i'm talking to you. why do you look so suprise?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows while scanning the boy features. he's very much unfamiliar to her, heck, she never see this boy at all. probably she just never notice him since she just recently moved here.

the boy blinked his eyes multiple times, scanning the girl from head to toes to see if the girl is also the 'same' as him without knowing he made y/n lowkey uncomfortable so she immediately backed off.

" you pervert! why did you stare at me like that?!" she huffed, crossing her hands on her chest, slowly backing off more.

the boy snapped out of his thoughts when he realized something,

" you..you can see me?"
