As midnight falls, Tobi called out to me.

"Deidara.. let's camp here.." I looked back at him. We've been rushing to get to Sasuke's location, I don't know if we can afford to rest. "Tobi I say we continue...hm," I said as I jumped forward.

All of a sudden I saw Tobi jump in front of me, he grabbed me by pulling me from my waist and sat me down on top of the tree. "Tobi we have to continue-"

"Deidara" Tobi took off his mask, his childlike voice now replaced by his usual deep raspy one. He looked at me, his Sharingan eye shining down on me. That damn eye. It enrages me. Obito's hand touches my face, forcing me to stop focusing on his eye and look at him.

"It's about Sasuke, isn't it?" he asked, as he looked deeply into my eyes. "Why are you finding him.." he asked, as his other hand grabs hold of my other, holding it tightly, almost to show support for whatever I am going to say next.

"I have held a grudge against Itachi ever since I first came in the Akatsuki, well I am here because I lost against a fight with him..hm," I said to Obito, who listened attentively. "My art means everything to me, I won't allow anyone..especially the Uchihas to look down on it...hm..." I said, my anger building up.

"Deidara, i'm an Uchiha..." Obito said, looking at me. "As an Uchiha, I'm telling you right now, your art is beautiful..just like you," He said as he leaned in and kissed me. My heart jumped as I felt his warm lips kiss mine. The comfort of his touch surrounded my body like a warm blanket on a cold night. He pulled away after a minute and placed his head against mine.

"The value of your art does not define the value of your life...Deidara..."

As much as I hate to admit it, Obito is right. I sighed and slowly pushed him away, looking at him. "Promise me something.." I said to Obito as he stares into my eyes. "If I ever get into a fight with any of the Uchihas, please..stay away.." I said to him, almost begging. I don't like it when people interfere with my fights. Even Sasori knew this. That's why he knows better and allowed me to capture the one tail on my own.

"I promise.." Tobi said, pulling me in for a hug. A wave of comfort and relief takes over me as I stood there having Obito's arms around me. Every day with him makes me feel like I'm becoming much more loved.

"Now, I think we should probably camp here..hm..." I said to Obito, who also just realized we've been standing on the tree branch for a few minutes now. "It kind of sucks how we can't stay in the cool Inns anymore.." Obito said as we jumped down, our feet landing on the surface of the ground.

"Yeah, Akatsuki is getting more well known now... it's dangerous for us to do so..hm.." I said as we set up our camp. "On the bright side, we get to enjoy nature.." He said shrugging, trying to turn things positive, finding a light at the end of a dark tunnel. "You get some rest, I'll keep watch.." he said as I sat down on a tree. "You're not sleeping with me..hm..?" I asked him, Obito looked at me, his face red.

Then I just realized what I said.

"Right right sorry.. hmm.." I said sheepishly, feeling a tad bit embarrassed. "Maybe next time Deidara.." he winked at me as he sat down next to me.

"A kiss will suffice," he said, pointing at his lips.

"Obito.." my face turned red as I groaned, looking the other way. "Not here hm.." I said quietly, looking back at him slowly.

I felt his hand grab my face, forcing me to look at him. God, his looks make me weak, I'm so close to lusting for him right now. He left a peck on my lips and pulled away, he looked at me and he pats his lap.

"What?" I asked, confused at his gesture.

"Sleep on my lap.." Obito demanded as he continues to pat his lap. I blushed again, this is the shit you see in movies, I'm so shy I've never have been allowed to do anything like this before.

"Deidara...just lie down.." Obito said, trying to gain my trust. "Obito.....no.." I said waving my hands, defensively. I looked at Obito, my face red as I smiled at him." I'm not ready for it..hm" I laughed awkwardly. Obito looked at me, confused. He laid his head back onto the tree and says "Deidara...its truly a wonder how you laying on my lap is too much for you considering we've had se-"

I cut him off by laying my head on his lap, I pouted as I turned to face him, looking up at him. He smiled down at me as his hands move to play with my hair, slowly stroking it.

"What are you doing.." I asked, gesturing to his hand movements. "It's called playing with someone's hair.." He chuckled as he answers, his hands softly brushing my hair off my face. "I've heard of a few other things too...uh..spooning? and..going out on dates..that I've never done before.." I confess to Obito who looked down on me in shock.

"You've never gone on a date before?" he asked, his reaction hiding his shock, I nodded and smiled at him. "If it's going to be with anyone I hope it's you.." I said quietly as I start to get sleepy.

"Get some sleep...Deidara.." He says as he puts his mask back on, and continue to watch. His hands still playing with my hair, providing me with all the affection and comfort that I've never been much used to. With that, I dozed into sleep. Feeling happy and loved.

Thank you, Obito.
