As I lay on my bed my thoughts run through what will happen tomorrow, the thoughts of how he might not remember me haunts me, there's nothing more I want than to hug him again, just to talk to him and hear his voice. I rolled over to my side, observing the necklace pendant that is shining as bright as ever.

My memories flashback to the time I and Deidara went on our first date...

"Obito I will not ruin the flowers like that hm," Deidara said as he protectively hugs the bouquet I got him, his hands wrapped around them as if holding a baby.

"It'll look beautiful trust me..." I said as I pulled Deidara's hand, his small hands fitted perfectly into mine as if they were made just for me. I stopped in front of the beautiful lake and sat down, patting the space next to me, gesturing to Deidara to do the same.

The blonde rolled his eyes and sat down, slightly pouting as his arms still wrapped around the flowers. I gestured for him to give me one flower, which he did by giving me a small one.

I plucked the petals and threw them onto the water, letting them float. Deidara's eyes looked onto the lake then looked at me, his eyes glittering with excitement. "Okay uh..it is kind of pretty, the flower petals and the lake...hm," he said admitting my opinion, his face red and blushing. I smiled back at him, just admiring his excitement.

"Okay let me try hmm.." he said plucking a few petals and throwing them into the lake. I looked as the wind got stronger, blowing away his blonde bang which covers his face, his smile and excitement on full display. I felt my heart skip a beat, he looks like an excited puppy, it's adorable.

He looked back at me and smiled with his eyes closed. I can die right here, right now. That smile can kill me and I would tell him it's an honour. I looked at how Deidara continued to pluck the flowers and then throw the petals into the lake, the beautiful lake surrounded by flower petals.

I rested my head on my hand as I looked at Deidara, appreciating this moment, the feelings I am experiencing feels as if it's everlasting. These are the moments when I'll look back and truly question if I have loved Rin because Deidara makes me feel like I have only truly loved when I am with him. God, I love him so much.

"We need to talk.."

I turned to see Zetsu in my room, his body half emerging from the ground. I groaned and looked at him "Zetsu what is it..can you not enter my room all of a sudden like this?" I asked, the annoyance in my tone clear and obvious.

"We have a proposal.." Black Zetsu said, I let out a small sigh and waved my hand, gesturing him to continue. "Put the red tag in Deidara, nothing more nothing less".

My heart stopped, I looked at black Zetsu, the disbelief plastered on my face. "Excuse me? what and why?" I asked as I sat up on my bed, now clearly they have all my attention. "Deidara is simply a weapon for our war-"

I cut Zetsu off by grabbing his throat, the anger in me started to rise. How dare he call Deidara a weapon? He is nothing close to something you can just use. "Deidara....is...not..."

"He's a reanimation..." Black Zetsu said, the atmosphere darkened. "He's not coming back...even if he is, it's a reanimated body, the only thing that is a part of him there is his soul, he isn't flesh or blood.." my grip on Zetsu's neck loosen, knowing that I can't kill him. I need Zetsu for my plan too but what he said was simply just too much.

The truth hurts but Black Zetsu isn't wrong, Deidara isn't alive; just a reanimation. His skin won't bruise, his skin will feel cold, his eyes won't glitter the way they used to. As I looked away from Zetsu, my thoughts went straight to Deidara. Maybe, just maybe this isn't all about Deidara. Maybe this is about the war, I think this is about the war.

"Keep Deidara out of your thoughts, this isn't about him..we are going to war," I said that quietly, as I stood up. "You took the words right out of my mouth..." Black Zetsu said, his tone sounded very sarcastic. "We need Deidara's skills for this, we don't need him, or his emotions" Zetsu argued, making a good point.

"All of our members will have personalities.." I argued back, my arms crossed. I leaned back onto my wall before I went on. "We can strategize the war together, they will tell Kabuto their techniques and how to use them.." I said raising my hands, trying to make a good point.

"No need for that..."

A familiar voice echoed by as I saw the door open. Kabuto stepped in and looked at the both of us, his smile indicating a pleasant confident argument. "I have all the data and info I need on each of the members.." Kabuto said as he tilted his head, his hand reached into his pocket and he took out a deck of cards.
He showed me 5 which he spread and shows to me, info about all the Akatsuki members on full display.

"However, I'm on Madara's side, I've upgraded them a little, you can come and see now," Kabuto said as he combined the cards and placed them in his pocket. A small smile formed behind my mask, knowing that Deidara would have his old personality again. He gestured for me and Zetsu to follow him, which we did. As we walked towards the room we prepared for him, the sound of the cracks on the walls accompanied us in our silent short journey.

As we stepped into his room, the 5 bodies of the Akatsuki was shown on full display, they stood inside the white wooden box, all looking lifeless and doll-like. "First of all.." Kabuto said as he took out an injection syringe, the contents empty.

"Do you mind if I take some of Zetsu's bodily fluid to increase their healing rate?" Kabuto asked me as his eyes darted towards Zetsu. I looked at Zetsu, who although looked unconfident, still nodded. Kabuto walked towards Zetsu and proceeded to take in some of his body fluid. My eyes turned to see Deidara's lifeless body, god, he still looks so beautiful.

I watched as Kabuto walked towards each of the bodies, injecting the fluid into their skin. "This will increase their regeneration rate, meaning if they get smashed, they will heal faster" Kabuto explained as his hands move swiftly to inject the fluid into their bodies. After he had finished at Sasori's body, he looked at me and Zetsu, he gestured us to step away, giving him some space.

He turned to us and pulled out a few kunai knives, all marked with white tags. "As you can see, I only have white tags here, which are believably the only acceptable ones for this use are your fellow Akatsuki members.." Kabuto said as he showcased the kunai knives, all of which shows the white paper tag hangs below.

"Since your members have been with you, know of the plan...I believe it's only natural to give them all the mind and action, plus I get to test these tags and their abilities" Kabuto said as his finger traced over the tags, dusting off a white substance that covers the paper.

"I will start the reanimation Jutsu now..." Kabuto announced, his voice rang throughout the empty hideout. I nodded and took a few steps back, adding distance between Kabuto and me. I crossed my arms as I watch him lay down the scroll. He pulled up his sleeve and did the required hand signs.

tiger

snake

dog

dragon

and he claps his hand signs

"Reanimation Jutsu!" He yelled as his hand touches the scroll, Jutsu formulas circled the bodies of the five Akatsuki members, the Jutsu formulas went up to their body, from their red cloak up to their neck. They all glow white. My eyes were on Deidara, I watched as his skin glowed brightly.

I watched, as Deidara's eyes once again opened, his black eyes complimenting the bright blue of his iris.

Once again, I felt my heart flutter.

This is the return of Deidara...
