Wolfstar ~ Cheating

~Hogwarts - Sixth Year~

Never in a million years did Remus think his boyfriend, Sirius, would cheat on him. Yet, here he stands, witnessing Sirius snog Lily Evans. Remus had never felt so hurt. He had originally come down from the dorm to ask if Sirius wanted to cuddle since they had barely seen each other all day.

Not only is Sirius snogging someone other than his boyfriend, but he's also snogging his best friend's girlfriend. Remus couldn't believe it. He felt so upset when he saw what was happening that he didn't even yell or get angry. He just ran back up the stairs to the dorm room as tears started to run down his cheeks.

Now that he was alone in the room, he started to get angry. That is until Lily came bursting through the door to the boy's dorm.

"Remus-!" Lily started but was cut off.

"How could you," Remus said angrily but it came out as a whisper, the tears still streaming down his face.

"I'm sorry, Remus," Lily said when she saw that he was crying. Remus doesn't usually cry in front of people.

"Well sorry doesn't erase the fact that you just snogged my boyfriend!" Remus cried furiously.

"Lily kissed who?" said Sirius as he walked through the dorm as if nothing was wrong.

"You, Sirius! You!" Remus shouted.

Suddenly, Sirius wasn't Sirius anymore. His hair shortened and he became a lot taller. His skin became a darker shade, and his eyes became dark brown instead of the silver they usually are. Remus stared in confusion as he watched this odd sight before him. Sirius was no longer Sirius, he was now James.

"W-what?" Remus stuttered softly, tears still rolling down his cheeks.

"Moony! What's wrong?!" James said as if he hadn't been the reason Remus was crying.

"Y-you- but- how- J-James?" Remus continued to stutter, feeling even more confused now.

"Where's Sirius?" Remus asked almost like a whimper. He was so confused as to what was going on.

"He's in detention with Minnie, don't you remember?" James asked softly.

"B-but..." Was all Remus could get out before the real Sirius appeared in the doorway.

"Moons? Why're you crying?" Sirius asked worriedly and quickly walked over to Remus who was perched on the edge of his bed, his head resting in one of his hands and he stared between James and Lily. Sirius quickly sat next to Remus and put a comforting arm around him.

"Prongs, what did you do?" Sirius turned to his best friend.

"Me?! I have no idea what you're talking about." James smirked but it soon faded when he saw Sirius' threatening glare. He felt bad for how upset he made Remus.

"Fine! It was just a prank, Moony. We didn't mean for it to upset you this much." James said, sounding sorry.

"Well of course I'm gonna get upset if it looks like my boyfriend is snogging someone!" Remus muttered angrily under his breath.

"What?!" Sirius gasped when he heard that.

"I'm sorry, Remus." Lily said gloomily.

"It's fine, Lily. It's him I'm angry at." Remus said darkly, pointing at James. He didn't like to be seen crying.

"I'm sorry! All it was, was a bit of polyjuice potion. I turned into Sirius and got Lily to snog me to try and prank you into thinking... well, y'know. And it worked, but it went a bit far. Sorry," James explained the prank and genuinely sounded upset by the end of it.

"Whatever," Remus sighed, using his hands to shoo James and Lily away.

The couple left, leaving Sirius with Remus. The room was silent for a bit before Remus spoke up.

"S-sorry, I didn't mean to cry and make you worried." Remus muttered.

"You don't need to be sorry, and plus, I always worry about you, because I love you. I'm never gonna cheat on you because you're the best of the best. There isn't anyone better than you Remus, so please, don't ever think I would cheat on you." Sirius said, every word making Remus feel special, especially one specific word.

"Y-you love me?" Remus asked softly. They had never said this to each other before. Other than in a teasing way, it had never been said in a way that genuinely meant love.

"Mhm," Sirius hummed softly as he wiped the tears off Remus' scarred cheeks and gently brushed some of his curly locks out of his eyes.

"I love you too," Remus smiled softly as Sirius cupped his cheeks with his hands.

"Of course you do," Sirius smirked, lightening the mood as he pulled their faces together and they met in the middle for a kiss.

Remus gently but playfully pushed Sirius' head away after hearing what he said and rolling his eyes. "Hey!" Sirius whined but laughed, knowing he deserved that for his narcissistic remark."We don't have time for kissing, we need to find a way to get back at those two prats." Remus schemed and Sirius was suddenly very interested.
