*Hey guys, this is a one shot where Remus is trans and gets his period. I guess it's kind of similar to the Drarry ~ Periods one shot, but also different in it's own way. I'm sorry if it sucks, I couldn't sleep and am on my period and suddenly at 5am I got the idea to write this, so yeah, it's now 6:20am when I'm posting this.*

*Please remember that I am not trans (I'm gender fluid - which can partially be considered as being trans but I am also comfortable identifying as my cis gender at times) and so I don't really know exactly what it feels like, outside the limits of my own experiences, but I tried to focus more of the things I do know like period symptoms and slight dysphoria, rather than guessing about the things I don't know. If I made any mistakes or wrote something that makes anyone uncomfortable or upset, please please tell me. I just want everyone to enjoy this fluff and be happy, I don't intend to make anyone uncomfortable or upset.*

~Hogwarts - Fifth year~

The Gryffindor tower was silent, as were all the other common rooms and dorms. It was about four in the morning, much too early for anyone to be up. Everyone was tucked comfortably in bed, dreaming away about chocolates, sweets, pranks, new learning, discovery, spells, and playing out in the sun. All happy, enjoyable things.

Everyone but One Gryffindor boy was feeling this way. Remus tossed and turned in bed, feeling slightly more uncomfortable than he always does. He knew he felt warm and he knew his boyfriend Sirius was lying in bed next to him, but surely he couldn't be sweating that much. The sheets below him felt wet and kept sticking to his thighs.

Suddenly, he shot up, sitting up in bed. For a sickeningly long moment, he thought he had accidentally wet the bed. Imagine how mortifying that would be, especially in a dorm full of your friends and your boyfriend sleeping right next to you. Somehow, in this moment, Remus was awake enough to feel sensations in his body. He felt the pang of pain in his stomach area and right above his tail bone. He felt the sore feeling in his forehead that hurt even more due to his quick movements. He felt the prickling sensation in his eyes as he began to overthink. It didn't help that he had already been having a bad dream.

Hesitantly, Remus pulled back the red duvet to reveal the white sheets below it. Although the white sheets weren't exactly as white as they were when he fell asleep. No, they were red. There was a massive red spot. Right where Remus had been laying.

In a moment of panic, he looked down at his normally grey pyjama shorts and saw that the back of them were the same dark red as the sheets, and it had been slowly seeping into the front of his shorts. Quickly, he jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom that is connected to the Gryffindor boy's dorm. He didn't even bother to lock the door, he just fell to his knees on the cold tiles, feeling the pain in his abdomen suddenly get a lot worse when he stood up, and feeling more blood leak into his pants.

What Remus didn't realise though, was that when he jumped out of bed, he had accidentally woken Sirius up. Said boy sat up in bed and rubbed his eyes, letting them adjust to the light flooding into the room from the slightly ajar bathroom door. He looked at the spot next to him that was supposed to be occupied by Remus, but was now empty.

That was when Sirius noticed the massive red stain. He immediately knew what had happened, and without a second though, had gotten out of bed and walked over to the bathroom. He didn't really want to just barge in incase Remus was getting changed or something, but he held his ear to the door and heard crying. This made his heart hurt, and so he gently knocked on the door, trying not to startle his boyfriend.
